Slobs at the Regis
St Regis Beijing Slobs at the Regis Super expensive overpriced hotel that does not deliver value for money Positives * magnificent lobby area * (mostly) Helpful staff Negatives * customer profile of mostly slobs * Executive lounge filled with slobs who would take entire serving tray or buffet dish of food back to their table (staff were apologetic) * Breakfast filled with hair in the food * Have no coffee alternatives at morning, despite claims that they normally do * Lobby lounge staff generally unhelpful and snooty * Concierge started off helpful, but kept pushing own overpriced activities where he gets a “commission” - finally when he realized we weren’t buying, became unresponsive * Bathrooms constantly stink - no u-traps in shower floor (this led to SARS in the 2000s in China) * Generally dilapidated rooms, albeit of good size

Wonderful family stay at St Regis Hotel Beijing
Our family had an outstanding stay at St Regis Hotel Beijing and felt truly cared for from the moment we arrived. From check‑in to departure, every staff member was warm, professional, and attentive, which made our whole family feel welcome and relaxed. As a Platinum member, the complimentary room upgrade was handled smoothly. A special thank you to Leah and Miya for preparing a beautiful birthday surprise in the room for our son, which turned a regular stay into a truly memorable family celebration. The upgraded room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with everything prepared exactly as requested for our family’s needs. Our stay felt like a home away from home, and the combination of excellent service, comfortable room, and genuine care from Leah and Miya made this one of our best hotel experiences in China.

Excellent Service
Excellent service from the moment we checked in, to staff handling our numerous luggage and to the cosy and well kept room. Refill of mineral water just with a call, and order of beverages is also just a ring with a selection available. Special call out and thank you to Miya Lim and Sandy for their hospitality which exceeded our expectations!

Great Staff, Tired Hotel
I had a great time here. The staff service is fantastic. I am giving a three, while well aware that anything below a 4 hits the hotels ITR score, because the hotel is in desperate need of a renovation. You can see signs absolutely everywhere of how tired and beat down the building is. The staff service is top notch, but the hotel itself needs a renovation so very badly.

An unforgettable stay at St Regis Beijing
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at St Regis Beijing. As the hotel found out about our upcoming wedding anniversary, the hotel butler organized an unforgettable experience from the moment we checked in. We were personally ushered to our suite room beautifully decorated with rose petals and balloons, and surprised with a specially prepared cake and hand written card. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our butlers, Leah Li (李洋）and Parker (赵胜强）for the exceptional hospitality and great service.
