Grand Hyatt Berlin

The location of the hotel is probably the biggest downside, in that the area feels very commercial and lacking any real pulse. There was a lot of construction going on in the streets around the hotel, whilst the hotel itself is comfortable, the information share at check-in around the facilities particulary local and in-house dining were lacking. This is very much a business hotel and very private, it did not hit the mark for me on this occasion.

A bit torn about this one. The area was great for business purposes but quite sketchy at night + construction outside my window did not help - obviously not the hotels fault but still affected my stay. Spa was was good and staff among the best I’ve met in Germany! Rooms were above expectation as well. Breakfast was ok but not necessarily wow.

Good location and good rooms. Service poor. We asked for simple things for our room like water twice and it didn't appear. Vox restaurant food totally uninspiring. Such a shame. All show, no substance.

Had a lovely stay at the Grand Hyatt. Location was excellent with lots of nice restaurants and shops within walking distance, and a short walk to the metro. Stagg were extremely helpful, both at reception and in the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was amazing, so much choice, which changed daily as well as a wide variety of cooked to order food included. We also enjoyed the spa, and enjoyed our treatments there and the jacuzzi. Beds were comfortable and rooms quiet. Couldn't fault our stay.

What an amazing end to our vacation! My family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids ages 5-10) enjoyed a 3-night stay at this beautiful hotel at the end of our 2 weeks in Germany. Prior to our stay I communicated with the staff regarding the booking itself and airport transportation, and they were always very responsive. Upon arrival after a long travel day, the staff greeted my children with lollipops, which they loved! (Later in the stay they also got gummi bears!) We had one suite and one king room, both of which were absolutely lovely and well cared for. We took part in the breakfast, which had an amazing spread as well as many menu items we could take part in. Our family also used the room service one night, and we were pleasantly surprised at all the vegetarian and vegan options. Finally, my husband and I used the club lounge and bar, with impeccable service at both. The location of this hotel is also fantastic, with many walkable sites and easy access to public transportation. The staff here really go above and beyond, and it was a very memorable way to end our Germany trip!
