The riverfront Meliá Berlin is a top pick among business travelers because of The Level, a seventh floor, royal red executive club with meeting rooms and special perks. Leisure travelers also love Meliá for its convenient location and unusually colorful rooms. There’s no dull beige-and-taupe color scheme here: Fuchsia headboards and pillows pop against mint carpet, and the effect is light and cheerful. Berlin’s top attractions are a brief train ride away – you can be at the Berlin Wall Memorial in six minutes, and the five internationally renowned institutions on Museum Island are just 10 minutes away.

A great place for a couple of nights in Berlin. Delicious food in the restaurant and comfortable rooms. I was very pleased with the friendly staff. I liked the convenient location. I will definitely choose this place next time and recommend it to my friends.

This Hotel was the most central to all sites. No need for taxi/uber. Walk everywhere. The room was excellent both in size and cleanliness. Staff were excellent and all spoke English. Also the room was extremely quiet (room 606): Most recommended.

5/5 Excellent Great hotel, we really enjoyed our stay especially as we were in a Level room (club room). This meant we had access to The Level lounge with great views over the river. The breakfast in the lounge was extensive and really delicious including cooked and continental. Snacks during the day included bottomless teas and coffees, soft drinks. Between 3-6pm there were little cakes and biscuits. From 6pm-9pm, the bar opened with bottomless wines, beers, spirits etc as well as savoury tapas selections. Highly recommended

This is a big hotel, perfectly situated where Friedrichstraße meets the Spree and perfectly located if you want to explore Mitte and all of the historic bits of Berlin. The Berliner Ensemble are just across the bridge and access to the station and UBahn couldn’t be easier. The hotel is modern, maybe in need of an upgrade in some areas, notably the lifts and the woefully out of date and crazily arranged Tapas Restaurant. The rooms are great, with a good view and super comfy pillows. Good bathroom products (Rituals are okay by me) and an adequate level of tea and coffee making facilities. Room service is pretty limited but as you are in the cultural hub of Berlin something will satisfy your cravings just around the corner. The big plus points other than the location are the staff. When I was there a building evacuation was called and the entire hotel was ok the street outside. Excellent staffing all clearly trained and on point. The emergency was over in three to five minutes. A hard task in a building of that size. So, well done there. The only major drawback is that in 2025 I fail to see why a chain like Meliã and a modern Hotel has such appalling wifi ! This is without a doubt the worst WiFi experience I have had a decent hotel they really should sort it out. Constant dropouts. No real speed and struggles to stream or do anything of any use. So apart from the wifi and the tapas I’d recommend I hope the staff fell appreciated by the management because they keep the place buzzing with a positive energy.
