Our diverse, uber-luxurious collection of 21 light and airy villas and nine suites afford sweeping views of the shimmering ocean, lush gardens and a serene man-made lagoon anchoring the estate’s Thai-themed Lawan Village. Bathed in neutral, crisp and earthy tones, the villas and suites range from an ample 55 square meters to a capacious 1,045 square meters, boasting verandas, balconies and terraces, open-style bathrooms with separate Lefroy Brooks soaking tubs and showers, and walk-in closets. In addition to the super king size beds, polished parquet floors and Chinese-style cabinets, each villa and suite is adorned with carefully selected, rare pieces of art and furnishings, inviting a glimpse into the captivating histories and cultures of Southeast Asia. And to further pay tribute to Southeast Asia’s diversity, villas are named after various emblematic flowers from different countries. Where to start and how to select.. location, building, rooms, friendliness of staff, quality of food and drinks, general laid back ánd stylish atmosphere created...in one word: excellent. The perfect place for truly relaxing holidays.

Top notch
To make a long story short......a hotel could not be better. The Sanchaya is clearly in my top 5 ever. It is a jewel 1 hour from Singapore. The stuff everywhere is high end and beautiful and friendly. The interior of the rooms is perfect and I did not miss a single product. The bed is amazing and the room is clean and bright. Breakfast on top level and amazing and tasty a carte menu. Quality of spa also...top notch. Congratulations to the hotel and also to the management for leading your team on an excellent path. Thank you for the amazing time and we will see each other again.

Can’t wait to return!!
This was our 2nd visit to The Sanchaya and it won’t be our last! Greg and his Artisans wowed us again and surpassed the high expectations set by our first visit. My wife requested a special ‘bunny cake’ for Easter and Chef Budi and his team impressed us with creativity and deliciousness beyond what they serve up at every meal. The personal touches and attention to detail make this one of our favorite boutique hotels and an experience we’ll be looking forward to repeating.

Thank you for the fab time
We had the most amazing time at the sanchaya! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the mattress and pillow’s are just the right firmness, amenities in the room are excellent. Mostly the staff!!! From the GM Greg down to the last belllboy they are fabulous, efficient friendly and welcoming The Chef as per our request, created a fantastic meal for us So a big thanks to alll at The Sanchaya I hope to come back k again soon

Excellent hotel in Bintan
Excellent rooms, really comfortable with great facilities. The food, albeit slightly limited in choice was very good. Throughout our stay the service was excellent. As the picture shows, a great main swimming pool and beach is nice as well. We were sad to leave. Rob T
