Absolutely first class hotel. Was there for a friend’s wedding. The staff was amazing. The rooms were beautiful. They have a fleet of golf carts that drive you down to the beach. The property is carved out of the side of the mountain. The beach restaurant barbarosa has great food. You are on the backside of Bodrum which gives very private beach and clear waters. It is about a 15-20 minute cab ride into town. That was my only small personal drawback but for a large family semi private wedding, they could not have picked a more spectacular location. Super super good

Great captain and helper. Very attentive, polite, fun to talk to. Lunch was prepared exactly as we requested. Simple. Tasty. Very fresh. Beverages for free entire 6 hrs tour. On time to start and finish. Plenty of opportunities to swim, relax.

Avoid unless you like doubling your final hotel bill on absurdly expensive food prices: EUR 17 for Fries, Caesar Salad EUR 27, Fruit Platter EUR 28. I have been to Bodrum before and really appreciate the well-priced food. However, this is not the case at the Bodrum Kempinski. Management tried to explain to me it was because of inflation and supplier costs. This does not make sense, as I did some benchmarking of hotels in the area and of Kempinski globally. For example, 2 other Bodrum Hotels which are considered High-End Luxury have more realistic prices: - Lujo- Caesar Salad EUR 20, Fries EUR 8 - Bodrum Edition- Caesar Salad EUR 16.98, Fries EUR 10.73 At best, their suppliers are taking advantage of them. At worst, this is a deliberate attempt to gouge guests who are unable to leave the hotel easily, seriously theres no restaurants around the hotel— which, frankly, feels exploitative. Out of 5 restaurants on site, 3 were open, and 2 of these served the same food. Hotel staff are nice, rooms are nice as well, but the food prices are absurd. How can anyone justify EUR 17 for fries... I would avoid the hotel unless management can fix their prices.

The Kempinski Hotel Barbaros Bay in Bodrum is like a finely crafted Turkish rug—every detail intricately woven, vibrant yet timeless, revealing new layers of beauty the longer you linger. The online photos? They’re just a snapshot of the real thing and reality is incredible Stepping into this resort feels like unrolling a masterpiece: sprawling grounds, comfortable rooms, a breathtaking beach, and pools that beckon you to dive in and lose yourself in their depths. It’s a place that hits you with a “wow” from the moment you arrive. Tucked away about a 20-minute cab ride from Bodrum’s bustle, the resort feels like a secret woven into the cliffs, a sanctuary of serenity and first-class elegance. If you can, splurge on a sea-view room with a spacious deck—it’s like adding a bold, shimmering thread to the rug. The extra luxury and endless turquoise vistas are worth every penny. The staff are the skilled artisans of this experience, their warmth and care stitching every moment together. They don’t just do their jobs; they craft memories. A surprise anniversary cake appeared like a delicate pattern in the design, unexpected and delightful. Turkish tea, local cheeses, a piece of rich Turkish chocolate—these thoughtful touches wove joy into our stay. The front desk manager-Sonor and concierge - Mevlut are master weavers of creating vacation memories their genuine smiles and attentiveness creating a tapestry of hospitality I’ve rarely encountered elsewhere. The beach is a vibrant centerpiece, like the boldest motif in the rug. Tucked in Bodrum’s finest bay, it feels almost private, with crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming. Loungers, umbrellas, and soft grassy patches create a serene scene straight out of a postcard. Getting there is effortless—they whisk you down in a golf cart, the ride itself a scenic thread winding through stunning views, begging to be captured on video. The restaurants add their own rich hues, with delicious food and views that elevate every bite into a moment. Yes, the prices are steep, but you’re dining on more than just a meal—you’re savoring the artistry of the setting. For a more budget-friendly option, a quick trip to Bodrum town offers plenty of dining choices, easy to reach and return from. The resort itself is vast, like a grand rug spread across the landscape, yet it never feels crowded. There’s space to wander, to breathe, to simply be. The design balances grandeur with subtlety, luxurious yet never ostentatious, much like a Turkish rug that doesn’t need to shout to command attention. Compared to the flashier vibes of Porto Cervo or Saint-Tropez, this place feels more authentic, its quiet elegance letting you truly relax. If you’re seeking a haven to unwind, a place just removed from the hustle but woven with panashe -the Kempinski Bodrum is it. Kudos to the designers who crafted this intricate retreat and the remarkable staff who bring its patterns to life, making it feel like home. We left already dreaming of our next visit, ready to step back onto this exquisite tapestry.

Indulging in the luxurious embrace of the Kempinski Hotel Barbarossa in Bodrum, Türkiye, feels like pure magic! & After six weeks of travel, this stunning resort is the epitome of relaxation. Each morning, I'm greeted by a gorgeous buffet featuring vibrant salads, fresh fruits, and an incredible selection of dishes. Dining on the terrace with breathtaking views of Barbara Bay, it's hard not to feel like l'm living in a postcard! The pools wrap around the resort like a shimmering ribbon, creating a serene atmosphere that's simply irresistible. Those unique spires rising from the water remind me of a mosque, adding a touch of elegance to this seaside resort.
