Lived up to the hype!

Beautiful and quiet resort. Totally luxury! Would highly recommend staying here if you go to Bora Bora. We actually ended up extending our stay so we stayed in both an overwater room and a garden room. Both were beautiful. Of course the over water room is iconic, worth the money!

Fantasy Island!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

This was a special splurge for our 30th wedding anniversary and every detail was perfect and exceeded our expectations! We stayed in June 2022 and just getting around to review. From the minute our plane landed on the island and we were warmly greeted with a lei and an employee took our luggage and put us a small boat for a 15 minute ride to a separate beautiful island, we knew this was going to be very special! When our boat pulled up to the resort, we were greeted by Polynesian drummers, a team of professionals to offer us a welcome drink and get us settled in. We had stayed in Tahiti the night before so we could explore there and get the first flight in the morning to Bora Bora so when we arrived here we changed into our swimsuits and lounged on the beach with food and cocktails until our room was ready. We also used this time to give the pool attendant the huge flamingo floatie we brought from home so by the time they took us to our room, it was already inflated and waiting for us in our pool! We had 2 rooms during our stay, first the Horizon Pool Villa up on a hill overlooking the resort with a beautiful ocean view! It is huge and has a large living room, bedroom, the biggest bathtub over ever seen, as well as a giant deck with its own private pool and it is absolutely stunning! You can still walk to everything but they also will drive you in golf cart as you wish. It was much less expensive than our second room, an over water villa, so if you’re on a tighter budget or as in our case, it’s the only available room on your dates, don’t hesitate as we absolutely loved it! Upon our arrival the room had a beautiful fresh flower arrangement as well as flowers arranged on our next and delicious house made truffles (best ever…still dreaming of those) and we were offered complimentary champagne or wine but opted for fresh orange & pineapple juices to mix with our Malibu rum we brought from home instead which was perfect for mixing our own cocktails. The second part of our stay was in the over water villa with its own private pool as well which will fulfill your fantasy of what a vacation in Bora Bora should be. Beautiful and perfect in every way! We spent most of our stay lounging on our private deck/pool. They have a great Bluetooth speaker system that allowed us to enjoy music from our phone on the speakers outside where we could lounge, swim, read, enjoy drinks, food, etc. A little ladder to go down to the ocean where we could swim and snorkel. We also brought 2 rafts we tied to our deck so we could just float on water without drifting off. It was AMAZING! We really never wanted to leave our room/deck but occasionally we did get out a bit to enjoy the resort’s activities like single & double kayaks, the bikes, lounging in hammocks with a good book, etc. we did go to the resorts big pool on our last day only because although it’s very nice and great cabanas, there’s little incentive when your room has its own private pool! But it worked out perfectly when we checked out of room but still had time to enjoy resort before last flight of the day leaving island. Our Costco packe included meals and we enjoyed the daily breakfast buffet which offered delicious French pastries and fruits (I had fresh passion fruit every day) and so much more as well as unlimited items to order from their menu like ham/cheese crepes, omelettes, & eggs Benedict. We also paid extra one morning to book their very special canoe breakfast experience where they deliver your order to your overwater villa by canoe and set it all up for you on the table on your deck! Do romantic and unforgettable! We never needed much for lunch but would get something light from either room service or when at beach or resort pool we ordered there or went into Tamure Beach Grill. We tried all the restaurants options for dinner: Iratia (French), Banyan (Chinese), & Upa Upa Sushi Lounge (Japanese). They are all great but our personal favorite by far was UPS Uoa because not only was the food delicious, but the experience was amazing! They las live Polynesian music & dancers which we loved ! We sat at a beautiful table outdoors on a starry night on a deck surrounded by ocean that is lighted so you can see all the sharks swimming around and it was magical! The menu is like an led glowing format and so are the ice buckets…it’s so cool! On our last night, we brought a blanket onto our deck’s hammock over the ocean to enjoy looking up at the stars in the sky as well as watch the sharks swimming in the lagoon as there is lights under the villa. It was actually super comfy and we did not want our stay to end! To our surprise their was a perfect fireworks display that night which was for another group staying there but we sure enjoyed it too! The service here is the best and everyone bends over backwards to make sure you enjoy every minute and we did! Special thanks to our personal Butker, Ricky, who took the best care of us every step of our stay!

Paradise found an address on earth!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

The location itself is a masterpiece of nature's finest work, a canvas painted with the most vibrant hues of blue, where the waters beckon you to explore their secrets. Snorkeling among a world of wonder beneath the surface, where tropical fish dance amidst coral gardens. But the adventures don't end there—take to the pristine waters in a kayak, gliding effortlessly over the crystal-clear depths, or simply bask in the warmth of the sun on the powdery white sands, each step a reminder of the blissful serenity of this paradise. As day melts into night, prepare to be spellbound by the spectacle of the sunset, a symphony of colors that sets every artist's imagination ablaze. And when it's time to retire, the overwater bungalows await, each one a sanctuary suspended above the ocean, where the gentle lull of the waves becomes your lullaby. Or just lay on the hammock over the water gazing into the dark night filled with millions of stars. And let's not forget the culinary delights, crafted by the incredible chefs whose mastery transforms every meal into a gastronomic journey. A special shoutout to the culinary wizards behind the exquisite French restaurant, where each bite is a revelation, a celebration of flavor and finesse. The staff at Conrad in Bora Bora, weave warmth, courtesy, and above-and-beyond service into every interaction. With smiles as radiant as the sun, they anticipated our every need, turning each moment into a cherished memory. Their genuine warmth transformed our stay into a truly magical experience, where every encounter felt like a fairytale come to life. At the Conrad in Bora Bora, where reality and fantasy intertwine to create an experience that transcends the ordinary—a true haven for the soul. Such an incredible way to celebrate our 30th Anniversary.

Conrad Bora Bora: Overwater Bungalow Paradise with a Caveat

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Overwater Bungalow with Plunge Pool: Luxurious, private, and stunning. Highly recommended for a special occasion, but be prepared for a hefty price tag exceeding $2600 USD per night. Garden Room with Plunge Pool: Not recommended at the Conrad. Poor condition, malfunctioning amenities, and unpleasant smells significantly detracted from the experience, especially considering the high cost exceeding $1300 USD per night. Service and Food: Both were excellent, with the pizza receiving high praise. Management: Appreciated the slight bill adjustment for the disappointing garden room. Overall, the Conrad Bora Bora offers an incredible experience in their overwater bungalows, but the quality of the garden rooms falls short of expectations, especially for the price point.

The Conrad is a great hotel for families and couples!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

My wife and I stayed at the Conrad for almost two weeks in mid-April. Our entire experience there was excellent! The staff was especially attentive and great to constantly ask us if there was any more they could do for us. The facilities and grounds are wonderful. We have previously stayed at the Four Seasons and the Conrad is just as nice as the Four Seasons. We have visited the St. Regis and from what we could see, the Conrad was just as nice. Everything was perfect for our stay.
