The Colonnade was excellent
The Colonnade Hotel was a gem! Right from check in, the doorman was super friendly, got us nice cold waters immediately. Alexandre checked us in, very polite, friendly and professional. It was a breeze. The rooftop pool bar was lovely, as was Lucie’s restaurant Added perk for the hotel was the snack room, free waters, sodas, coffee, fruit & cookies! YUM Good location in the Back Bay section, short walk to Fenway, MGM music hall and many excellent bars and restaurants. We took Amtrak from NYC, 5 minute walk from the train station.

Nice hotel
Good location. Loved the coffee, soda and snacks for guests. I would suggest the hours be extended. Loved the coffee in the room. It is really clean. As for the pool, because they allow outsiders to pay to come to pool there were no lounges available for us. We sat for a little. Drinks were good. Very nice hotel.

Great Visit at the Colonnade Hotel
We stayed at the Colonnade Hotel for 3 nights before joining our cruise, and I can highly recommend it. The rooms were large, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The public areas were beautifully maintained, with a lovely atmosphere throughout the hotel. The rooftop bar was also a fantastic bonus, offering a great place to relax. I’d like to give a special shout-out to Norman, who truly made our stay extra special. He was so welcoming, attentive, and made us feel like very valued guests. Norman is a real asset to the hotel—thank you for making our visit so memorable!

Toilet didn’t flush and shower wouldn’t drain
Room was nicely decorated and updated. The beds/pillows were comfortable and the staff was friendly. The rest of my experience was not good at all! First off, the shower did not drain. I stood in about 8 inches of water the whole time. 30 minutes later the water still hasn’t drained. Plus while I was showering I saw no less than 5 gross hairs on the shower walls that were not mine. The shower curtain was also gross! The toilet did not flush at all! Thankfully I didn’t “need” to flush it on my one night here:-) TV kept buffering no matter what channel I was on, I gave up after 20 minutes and just watched TV on my phone. I would have complained about all this stuff but I checked in late and was just here for the night and wanted to go to sleep. Hopefully they will read this and clean and maintenance check their rooms a little better going forward. Lastly, I came here because they have EV chargers. They do work but are expensive and beyond slow so that was a bust too. So in short, I paid almost $400 for one night plus another $70 to park and couldn’t watch TV, use the toilet or take a shower. Travelers be warned!
