The Eliot Hotel

Two nights stay visiting Boston with family (4 of us). Location was good in Back Bay, near shopping and Hynes MBTA. We walked into the City including Boston common and freedom trail. It's a nice area. On reflection I would have preferred to be even closer to the centre but it's a good location. Easy to get to Cambridge and Fenway stadium, using Ubers. More of a boutique feel than the pictures might suggest - small lobby and not many facilities from what I could see. Not a problem for what we wanted. Room was smart with extremely comfortable bed. Not particularly spacious, bathroom was small. But the room was certainly comfortable. Hotel is on a junction of two main roads and it was pretty noisy into the early hours - to be fair, it was Halloween, which maybe made things worse and I wasn't sleeping great as it was so maybe more sensitive to it. In room dining wasn't great - there are options from Uni restaurant next door and only from 430/530pm (I forget which) - so if you want a cup of tea or something simple in the day, you need to sort yourself out. Also Uni is Japanese food so options are limited. That said, we visited Uni one night and the bar was great, and although we didn't eat, the food looked great too! Staff here were friendly and welcoming, especially the doormen. Treats for the kids over Halloween which was a sweet gesture.

We had an excellent experience at this hotel. Beautiful room and comfortable setting. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. We will stay again for sure.

We had a wonderful stay at The Eliot Hotel in Boston. The location is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore everything Boston has to offer. Our room was beautifully appointed, spacious and spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed and a lovely lounge area that was perfect for relaxing as a family after a day of sightseeing. The small kitchenette was a great touch, especially for enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. The staff were so kind and helpful throughout our stay, nothing was too much trouble. Our Boston trip was incredible, and a win for the Patriots made it even better! We couldn’t have chosen a better base. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Boston.

The Elliot Hotel is my favorite hotel in Boston. I love the spacious well appointed rooms and suites, location in Back Bay, and the staff is so welcoming and professional. I love the energy and neighborhood vibe combined with the familiar faces of the hotel staff whichmake it my home away from home.

The Eliot's reputation as a first rate (boutique) hotel is richly deserved. The service is impeccable; the rooms are beautifully appointed and maintained; and the entire operation sparkles with class and grace. It is a very quiet and peaceful setting. Uni restaurant, which is in the hotel, is one of the best in the city; and if you want a big breakfast, you can dine in the Harvard Club with is next door and has an arrangement with the Eliot. We had a wonderful stay at the Eliot.
