Staff is exceptional!
This would not let me hit the five for my review. I was doing it on my phone and it was not allowing me to hit five stars, but I most definitely meant for it to be five stars. My experience was phenomenal! I have always stayed at the hotel a.k.a. and Alexandria, which is my hometown and they have never disappointed me. So I decide we would stay in a.k.a. in Boston. Jose and Giber stand out as exceptional employees and just the most delightful people! We loved being around them and we loved talking to them and they made us feel so comfortable and relaxed! I wish there were more people like the two of them. The front desk staff was wonderful as well. And even though my phone in the room didn’t work and we hada tub that wouldn’t plug, the maintenance guy was super nice and helped me with a temporary fix for the tub. I would say that the staff is top-notch at this hotel! I will be back.

Cute atmosphere, creative drinks and amazing hospitality
We were in Boston visiting friends and the AKA back bay was amazing. We were there for dinner and drinks a few times during our trip and I cannot say enough about the experience! The cocktails were so creative - beautiful and delicious! The manager, Julia B., was so gracious and she stopped by to chat with us a few times, giving us great recommendations, and made sure we were well taken care of. The bartenders were also friendly. Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in town!

Great stay
Great stay in a lovely location, the staff were very attentive and the room modern and comfortable. Only a few hundred yards from the full backbay experience and a short walk to the public gardens and on to downtown this was the perfect location quiet but central. With some great places to eat and drink nearby

Beautiful Hotel, Fantastic Location
Everything from check-in to departure was excellent. The location was perfect for exploring Boston, offering easy access to the train station, walks to Boston Gardens, Back Bay, and even Fenway Park to catch a Red Sox game. I also appreciated how easily the room temperature could be controlled, ensuring a comfortable stay. Hotel Aka Back Bay will definitely be our go-to hotel should we return to Boston.
