Hotel AKA Boston Common

Very wonderful experience. Had never been to the Hotel AKA and it is terrific. Had dinner at the bar, at the restaurant in the Hotel. Adam took good care of me and we enjoyed an engaging conversation while the service was excellent and the food delicious. Great location in Boston for walking to all main attractions. Will return.

My stay at Hotel AKA Boston Common was truly wonderful. I arrived on August 4, 2025, and was warmly welcomed by the front desk receptionist, Sherley. Her customer service was exceptional—she was friendly, accommodating, and patiently answered all of my questions. She made the check-in experience seamless and set a great tone for the rest of my stay. The amenities were fantastic. I especially enjoyed spending time at the a.bar with a few colleagues—the atmosphere was great, and the bartender provided excellent service. My room exceeded expectations: spacious, clean, and located on the 17th floor with a beautiful city view. It was the perfect place to unwind after a long day. The only downside to my experience came later that night when I returned from an evening out. I had some leftover food from a restaurant and wanted to warm it up. I called the front desk to ask about a microwave but was informed that none were available at the time and that a building engineer would need to be on-site to provide one. While this wasn’t a major issue, I would recommend having a centrally located microwave in the hotel for guest use—it would be a convenient addition. Aside from that minor inconvenience, everything else about my stay was exceptional. I couldn’t have chosen a better hotel, and I highly recommend Hotel AKA Boston Common to anyone visiting Boston. I’ll definitely be booking here again on my next trip to the city.

This was an amazing stay! We stayed for one night and the hospitality was superb! Ryan and Yary made us feel at home and welcomed. The location was super convenient, rooms were very clean and the view was spectacular from our room. Definitely would be coming back!

The food was amazing and had a great atmosphere. Our server Adam made sure that we were comfortable and helped us get our food, even though it was 10 minutes from closing, amazing service. Adam was manning the bar and was the only weight staff member in house and did an amazing job tending to all the customers.

Great location, almost anything is walkable within about 15 minutes. Rooms were clean, very comfy bed and wonderful staff. Have a drink at night in the bar and chat with Rebecca - she's a gem!!
