My wife and I travel for our anniversary every year; we have been to Maine, Vermont, the white mountains, Rhode Island, Florida and many more including this same hotel when it was part of the Kimpton group. Every single time, the hotel has had a special detail with us for our anniversary, a plate of fruit, a bottle of prosecco, some chocolates… thi hotel did not even had a note for us in the room congratulating us, and this was our 17 year anniversary and I notified the hotel about it the moment I made a reservation, yet nothing. In addition, it has nothing for amenities other than a small gym and a bar in the lobby that was closed on a Friday. You cannot even have breakfast in-room because they don’t offer the service, what kind of hotel doesn’t offer in-room service?… the staff is inattentive and it’s very expensive, for the price you pay you can easily stay in the Mandarin, the Four Seasons, or the W and receive better service and more amenities. I don’t give them one star because at least the bed is comfortable, but it will be the last time I ever stay in this hotel or any other AKA hotel.

JAMES was super helpful! A friend and I unexpectedly stayed in Boston overnight and James was a delight. He was patient and kind and accommodated our need for a double queen room. Location was very convenient. Would stay here again.

This is a nice affordable hotel. It's clean and conveniently located. My friend and I needed a room for the night since we missed our train. James at the front desk was kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. He was able to assist us and answer all questions and meet our accommodations. I will definitely come back here.

Absolutely horrible experience here. Will never stay here again or recommend to anyone. Arrived late at night with my dog then at 4 am the fire alarm goes off, after everyone gets awakened and I had to descend 19 floors from the stairs with my dog, it was determined NOT to be an emergency. Finally got back in my room around 5 am then there’s another annoying noise from the building keeping me awake. Phone in the room did not work and they also did not offer in room dining as advertised. Would have been more convenient with my dog not being allowed in the restaurant and they advertise as pet friendly! And finally the thermostat in the room kept the temp feeling like a sauna and also did not work to cool down the room. Needless to say, no sleep, very uncomfortable here. Do NOT book this place.
