Hotel Commonwealth

The property itself is beautiful, it is clean and has exceptional amenities. The proximity to Fenway is incredible and the location is very easy to navigate for transit, even for the “out of towner”. The Fenway facing rooms have a great view for the true Red Sox fans and the terrace is just beautiful! But the real gem of staying here is the staff, hands down. From valet to the front desk, they are exceptional. Nick at the concierge made not only my husband and I, but my 10 year old son feel like life long friends! They go above and beyond to make your stay a memorable and pleasant experience, they truly treat you like family. The entire staff is kind, personable and knowledgeable, greeting you by name every time you pass by making sure your needs are being met. Not only will we stay here again, but I will recommend Hotel Commonwealth 1000 times over.

Absolutely the ONLY place to stay in Boston! The previous 5-star reviews do not even remotely approach the bar raising experience at this property. From the doorman, to the front desk staff, to the back-end staff - ALL are lead by a remarkable team of professional leaders and it shows in their customer obsessed behavior. Upon arrival - assigned a room overlooking the square - - JUST A PERFECT view - road noise was minimal (but, it is the City - you expect some noise) and as a runner - a view of the Citgo sign was heart-warming. A/C was perfect (ice cold) and the bed was extremely comfortable. The room was well maintained for the amount of guests the property supports - does not show any wear-n-tear. The location of the property is PERFECT for the sports fan (baseball and running) both of which are easy access. Additionally, there is a subway station underneath the hotel - so, to easy! And, the City-of-Boston (North End and other shopping and dining areas) are all within walking distance of the property. But Fenway - lol - is pretty much in the backyard of this property. There is no other property in Boston that I will stay at for future events - none! This is my "Boston Home" when I am visiting the City. A special shout-out to Paul Price, Nicholas MacDonald and Jeffrey Ney! There are others that supported my visit as well - but these 3 stood out amongst a long list of Hotel professionals at the property. The Leadership at this property could tour all the major chain hotels and provide insight and training on the "How to" efforts of a 5-star property! Lessons can be learned by Marriott, Hilton and others.

This is our second time staying at the Commonwealth and it’s such a wonderful place to stay. It’s close to Fenway and MGM for concerts. Just a short walk.

The ever cheerful greetings from Frankie the doorman! Professional yet friendly service at the front desk from Chris, S or Jennifer! And the lobby is a stunningly appointed array of destination points to sit and relax, meet up with friends or enjoy a cup of coffee. They offer superior La Colombe roasters fresh hot coffee (and never once an empty dispenser!) and a variety of milk/creamer choices. The gracious care from Bimal to accommodate our room requests. The comfort of a suite, and overlooking Fenway Park no less!! Hotel Commonwealth is sure to meet your expectations in your stay, and it's in a great location to boot!

We had a 5-Star experience at the Hotel Commonwealth in Boston. Jeff Ney was a pleasure to work with and is a first class professional that was so helpful during our stay. We highly recommend this hotel!
