Visit to Boston University & Northeaster University
This hotel is certainly a gem. The outstanding and personalized service at the front desk, the clean and perfumed scent of the hallways, the nicely modern decoration of the lobby and super comfortable and clean bedding and tastefully decorated rooms all added to a great stay. The location is very convenient for visiting Boston University (8 minutes walk) while within 15-20 minutes walk to Northeastern University. Also, all the restaurants and shopping are within 10-15 minutes walk. Parking is expensive but in par with other local hotels.

We couldn’t have been happier with our first time staying at the Hotel Commonwealth. The staff was attentive to our every need, especially accommodating my family and baby. The rooms are top notch and I love the subtle Red Sox and baseball themes throughout the property. Very conveniently located to Fenway Park and public transportation. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Boston.

An overall great experience!
I stayed for 3 nights at Hotel Commonwealth. I had an amazing suite filled with memorabilia from the Ratskeller Bar. The staff were very welcoming and professional. John, Nick, Jeff, S and Calvin did an amazing job and had many great suggestions for sites to see and places to eat. The room was clean, spacious and well stocked with everything I could possibly need. I will definitely be back!
