A Boston University Graduation To Remember
Hotel Commonwealth has been a meaningful part of my Boston University journey since the very beginning, from my first visit to campus as a prospective student to family weekends, meals, and so many memories throughout my time in Boston. Returning for graduation weekend felt incredibly special, especially because I had the honor of serving as a platform member and delivering Boston University’s all-university Commencement speech. The Hotel Commonwealth team made the weekend feel even more memorable. They were so kind, thoughtful, and accommodating from start to finish, and generously upgraded both of our rooms to beautiful suites. We were also welcomed with a charcuterie board, a bottle of wine, and a handwritten note, which made the stay feel deeply personal and celebratory. What stood out most was the intentionality and warmth of the staff. Commencement weekend is such a busy time in Boston, but the team still made my family and me feel genuinely cared for. The location is perfect for BU, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the hotel continues to have such a special sense of place in Kenmore Square. I am so grateful to have celebrated this milestone at a hotel that has been woven into my BU story for years. Hotel Commonwealth will always be part of how I remember my time in Boston, and I cannot recommend it enough for anyone visiting BU or looking for a thoughtful, welcoming stay in the city.

Amazing Trip!
Amazing hotel! Brought my husband for his 40th birthday and S. Checked us in. S. ensured we had everything we needed for a great stay. Very polite and professional. Everyone was amazing and the hotel was very clean and beautiful. Highly recommend a stay here and definitely say hi to S. while there he’s the best!

10/10 Hotel with Amazing Employees
An amazing stay with the best employees in the world. Nick, Eddie, and Steve made our stay one to remember. They made sure everything was seamless and to our satisfaction. The room was very clean and comfortable with an amazing view of Boston. We will always stay at the Commonwealth Hotel whenever we stay in Boston, they are by far the best Hotel I have ever stayed in.

Unforgettable, Out of This World Stay!
Amazing experience, with an even better team of extremely professional employees. Nick, Eddie, and Steve made our stay the best experience I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The room was excellent, very clean with an even better view of the city and Fenway Park. I will definitely be revisiting in the future, and also recommending the Commonwealth Hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay!!

Great place to stay with kids who love baseball!
What a phenomenal hotel to stay at. The staff was the friendliest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. They engaged with our children, chatting about baseball and asking them questions about their own baseball teams. As a rural family trying to drive into Boston we were a tad frazzled after trying to drive into Boston. The staff upon arrival just took right care of us- taking our luggage and helping us laugh it off. The coffee is good, the place smells amazing and the rooms are spacious and clean. Worth the extra money to just walk back from a Red Sox game and not have to take the T. But the entrance the green line is right outside the door, so it makes exploring the rest of Boston a breeze! Loved everything about it!
