I could have stayed anywhere but I wanted to go back to the Langham, having not been here since pre-covid. I found the room I stayed in extremely small. The bed was very close to the door, meaning there was no buffer to hearing other doors open and close, which were quite loud. I would be very careful to ask about the size and configuration of the room before you book. I used to stay at the Langham for work before covid and the rooms were much more spacious. I was with two other colleagues and one of them was given a much larger room (for the same price) which was more what I was used to. Regardless, the bed was comfortable (though again small, not even a queen) and the bedding was great. The room was well appointed. The service at the front desk was very good. The coffee station in the morning uses little creamers, I would suggest real milk and cream.

Great overall experience! The room was clean. The Langham Lounge is worth the extra money. Every staff member was polite and courteous. Definitely would go back.

You’re spoiled for choice when it comes to hotels in Boston, but The Langham stands out by a mile. The entire property feels luxurious—from the inviting public spaces to the beautifully appointed guest rooms. Every staff member we encountered seemed genuinely proud of their work, creating an atmosphere that’s both professional and sincerely welcoming. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel cared for, and it’s absolutely where we’ll be staying from now on.

Really beautiful hotel. Very helpful and efficient staff. Stunning Christmas decorations on the ground floor. Our room was high up and we heard hardly any noise outside at all. Sound proofing internally is extremely good as well. The room wasn't huge but it was fine for us. It was kept spotless and lovely walk in shower. Bed was super comfortable. Nothing was marked or scuffed in the room/bathroom and in very good condition. We did use late night room service once as we went to an ice hockey game. I would say, in this day and age, not to actually have just one item on the late night menu that is vegetarian friendly is extremely odd. However, they rustled up a lovely bowl of mushroom pasta so all fine. Location is good and not too far to walk to bars and restaurants . It is quiet as it really in the business district but that suited us. The only niggle was we had breakfast one day in the hotel. It wasn't in our room rate. It is eye wateringly expensive. It wasn't hugely busy but it took such a long time for them to serve us really basic items. Coffee was consistently lukewarm. What we ate was very nice but really not worth the wasted time and money. That is the only negative. Everything else was absolutely fine!
