Thanks to Mirko, Our Stay Was Perfect
We had a bit of a rocky start at check-in, but Mirko completely turned things around for us. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail went above and beyond our expectations, and thanks to him we had a truly fantastic stay. The Liberty is a beautiful property in a perfect location—we visit Boston often and this hotel makes it even more enjoyable. Highly recommend, and a special thank you to Mirko for making our experience so memorable.

The location is not great, nor is the lobby decor
Not my favorite hotel. The lobby decor was very cheesy and I did not feel safe walking around the neighborhood where hotel is located at night. Lots of sketchy homeless men walking around and acting threatening. I did find the room better than the common areas though, as it was clean and the bathroom large.

Fantastic!
This is by far one of my favorite hotels. The theme is perfect for the building and incorporates a ton of history into the hotel itself. The room was very clean, spacious and had a perfect view. Food and drinks were wonderful and the staff we interacted with are great. Perfect for a quick trip in Boston.

If your looking for a convenient location in Boston to stay at located close to most tourist sites in Boston then this is the place. Beautiful lobby. Rooms are manicured clean and Excellent service. Very friendly hospitality team.

Great Location to Walk Around Boston!
Our quick stay for my daughter’s birthday was really pleasant. They very kindly left a note, a bottle of prosecco and a box of macarons in the room to surprise her. Check in was efficient and quick, but offered no info on the hotel or services. We reserved a high floor room, which I recommend due to street noise. It was pretty quiet, though our room directly faced the hospital and we did hear an occasional siren. We requested a coffee maker for the room not knowing that there’s complimentary morning coffee in the lobby. Overall the room/bathroom were comfortable and had uniquely themed decor, but felt more like a Marriott level brand than a Luxury level brand. May be due for a refresh. The jail-themed public spaces are more impressive. We enjoyed a complimentary gin tasting and sipped prosecco in their good-looking lobby. Busy place to gather, great for people watching and dog watching too. Excellent location walkable to the North End, Beacon Hill, the Charles & the Harbor, also close to the T and right down the street from Ma Maison (yum). But the area around the hotel feels a little remote and slightly sketchy at night.
