Luxury?/worth the premium?
This hotel was recommended to us by someone we met in an airport in Dallas TX. We normally stay at the Marriott Copley but thought we would branch out. We booked a “superior’” king room. The room was nice but 1. No coffee maker in the room instead you have to go to the lobby to get coffee which is free 2. Our view was of Mass General Hospital offices - it looked right into the office so I assume it would be the same from their windows into our room. We didn’t consider this “superior”. When I looked at our reservation in the Marriott app it said high floor. Rooms go from 2 - 16 we were on the 9 th floor. Given the number of floors I didn’t consider for 9 a high floor 3. A high point was done if the wait staff at blink - Carlis and Sandy were great. Very friendly and attentive 4. The in room refrigerator did not work. It was stocked with expensive drinks and snacks but they were not cool. 5. We did speak to someone at the check in desk about our concerns and he listened but basically said he understood but they consider for 9 a high floor etc. very dismissive. We also mentioned the refrigerator not working but he did nothing didn’t offer to send someone to look at it or anything 6. Only 2 of the : elevators work and in reading other reviews this has been a problem for a while. 7. When we checked in the person didn’t seem interested in welcoming us to the hotel. As soon as we checked in and started to walk to the elevators he walked past us to another area in the hotel. Didn’t over any info about the concierge etc The Liberty is billed as a luxury hotel. I have stayed at luxury hotels this was not. It is not centrally located so a bit inconvenient but luxury should make it more attractive. There were not enough extras to make this luxury or us to consider a return stay. We will stick to the Marriott Copley going forward.

Great helper
Ali was great. He helped me with many things and allowed me to sit comfortably and wait for my ride. Even when he wasn’t working, he would get up and help others check in if he had no one at his booth. He helped me get a cab to take me to the airport as well as ordering room service. He remained pleasant even with stressful situations. He gave me comfort I could relax and it appeared he liked what he did.

Elevated elegance
The Liberty Hotel is such a stunning and modern venue. The lobby is incredibly breathtaking and the drinks are delicious. I’ve had several fashion shows through their exciting event, “Fashionably Late,” and the hospitality of the organized staff never disappoints. I strongly recommend The Liberty Hotel for a stay, or a visit their bar.

The Liberty Hotel was a wonderfully marvelous time! Especially the concierge, Mirko! He went above and beyond to accommodate anything and everything I could have asked for as a parent traveling solo with an 8 and 10 year old. He was even able to anticipate what I would want to do and have it arranged before I even inquired. He made the stay memorable and is the reason we will return for future visits. Thank you, Mirko
