We loved our stay - comfortable rooms (morning coffee is a plus!, sound sleeping, perfect water streamed shower, bidet!, robes and slippers, nice glassware, soft towels), stacked gym, friendly staff. We will absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful hotel all around!
We had a lovely stay here for a long-weekend in the fall. Every detail was great. Everyone who worked there, from the doormen, cleaners, concierge, etc, were all very lovely and accommodating. Very nice to our dog as well. We loved both restaurants (rooftop for breakfast and the darker downstairs restaurant for dinner). They were some of my favorite meals we had in Boston. The location could not be better- right across from the gardens, in the middle of a couple of cute neighborhoods to walk around. The whole place was remodeled recently, keeping the historic charm. The gym was also large and had tons of equipment. Everything was clean, rooms were quiet, would love to return.

A Perfect Boston Getaway at the Newbury!
Our stay at The Newbury was nothing short of wonderful. If you know Boston, you know the hotel’s location is unbeatable—overlooking the beautiful Public Garden and steps from the shops and energy of Newbury Street. The area is well lit, walkable, and full of charm. We even caught two weddings in the Garden during our stay, which was such a lovely bonus. Check-in was smooth and informative, with friendly staff providing area maps and explaining the hotel’s amenities. Our Park View King Suite was spacious, luxurious, and impressively quiet for a busy weekend. The bed was extremely comfortable, and after a relaxing walk to dinner, we slept soundly. The in-room Nespresso was a nice touch the next morning before we headed out for a full day in the city. We grabbed lunch at The Street Bar, which offered great people-watching and a menu with plenty of appealing options. My husband loved his burger, and my turkey club was delicious. Later, we walked to the nearby theater district to see John Mulaney—another reminder of just how convenient the hotel’s location is. On Sunday, we enjoyed an excellent breakfast at Contessa. I had visited previously for lunch, and it continues to impress. The rooftop setting, city views, and standout dishes make it a must. Definitely make reservations in advance, even for breakfast. Overall, The Newbury exceeded our expectations in comfort, service, and location. We had a truly memorable experience and would happily return. Highly recommend!
