Reviews for Hilton Brisbane

Best of the best! Unbeatable customer service - sensational

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

Hilton Brisbane has unrivalled customer service and it's such a wonderful home away from home. As a Diamond member the team at Hilton Brisbane are AMAZING! This week, Anj checked me in (twice actually, Friday and Sunday) and with a wide smile and helpful demeanor. And, I had texts with Keyla, Ivan, Tanya and Ashleigh which had me so connected (and shoutout to James who quickly sorted the sound on the tv). Pravin and Stuart are always amazingly welcoming too. Hilton Brisbane is unique as they are so focussed on YOU, as a customer - it's so nice. I overheard someone in the Lounge asking for a certain soft drink (and then they were surprised and delighted when Mila re-emerged with their drink) - the team really do go "above and beyond" - listening, helpful and thoughtful. The Executive Lounge is worth the little extra as it's a quiet haven to relax on level 25. And the "usual" staff of Mila, Mark and Melanie in the Executive Lounge are welcoming. Breakfast is a buffet served on the same level as reception. It's a fabulous buffet where you can also create your own freshly squeezed juice - my particular favorite start to the day. Finally, the vibe of the hotel is created from the top. GM Chris has created such a unique customer centric environment and it was great to bump into him a few weeks ago.

Best Hilton service in Oz..

All around just amazing service from all the staff members in all departments... Unbeatable location in Brisbane for both leisure or business, & also shopping (literally there is an elevator from the lobby to the heart of the Queen St Mall shopping precinct). The Harry Seidler designed lobby atrium is really iconic - and really interesting. The big atrium space makes the hotel feel really calm & peaceful, despite being a pretty large hotel in the heart of the city. I have stayed here a few times over the years and always really enjoy the unique atrium design and walkways to the rooms, and the ride up and down in the glass lifts. Rooms are of a generous size and feel spacious. They are also very quiet. I really liked the decor and styling of our Executive Twin room, and the beds were really comfortable - almost double bed sized and larger than the usual king single beds you would normally get. The spacious room size and larger beds made for a really comfortable twin share stay - which isn't always the case when twin sharing. I think the Executive level is really worth the additional fee here. Being on the highest floors you get to really enjoy the views from the rooms and also the atrium design. The lounge itself is a very nice space with nice views over the cbd and the river. The evening canapes were comprehensive, and the included breakfast is actually the bigger buffet in the main restaurant. The Executive rooms also have more upscale furnishings and a large flatscreen TV. Diamond recognition was excellent and the service from all the staff was perfect. We were upgraded to the Executive Twin ahead of time which was also perfect and the room was super comfortable for us. My Tibetan monk friend who I was travelling with couldn't believe how friendly & helpful every one was. He arrived some time before me, but the staff went out of their way to make him at home and explain everything as he isn't that familiar with modern western hotels being from a remote village area in Tibet etc. In the previous year, I have stayed in a lot of the Australian Hilton hotels around Oz as a Diamond guest and I now have a new standout top favourite Hilton - Hilton Brisbane. Hilton Brisbane and Hilton Sydney are delivering a guest experience that is a very noticeable cut above their other Australian Hilton counterparts.

Lovely staff!

The staff at the Hilton Brisbane are the friendliest staff I have ever seen! From the moment we pulled up to park our car, to check in, the executive suite for drinks and canopies, breakfast and as we were leaving! All staff went out of their way to ensure we were well looked after. The road was closed today due to ANZAC day, but the staff made sure we were aware of restrictions and helped us find somewhere else to park. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely!

Entrance is lovely, rooms need a facelift.

The place looks magnificent when you walk in, probably the tallest hotel I’ve seen from the inside and the glass lift is very impressive. All of the external things are great, but the rooms are poor. At least the basic double rooms. There was a strong smell of urine and the tv was from 1985. The aircon was also very old-fashioned and was hard to adjust. I came from a cold climate and it was warm there, I sweated my ass off. Overall, the outlook when you walk in is nice, the bar seems nice and the pool etc, but the rooms need a serious update to keep up with local hotels at the same price like the Hyatt or the Westin.

High Standard of the Hilton reputation

I stayed here for a few days over NYE and loved it, fantastic location to walk around Brisbane and very close to the gardens and river walk along with plenty of of dining options. The staff were amazing as normal and the breakfast buffet is worth every cent. This is definitely my go to hotel in Brisbane. And love the lap pool
