Reviews for Sofitel Brussels Le Louise

Very disappointing hotel

Noisy room, air conditioning constantly in error, stole champagne from by fridge, had to argue to get my included breakfast. As a Accor Diamond extremely disappointed.

Gorgeous boutique hotel in the heart of Brussels

A superb boutique hotel in the heart of Brussels. I loved the location of the hotel, walkable anywhere. The staff and bell hops are very kind and helpful. The bedding and room fixtures are tasteful. The coffee and teas are nice quality. I like that they offer you chocolate upon check in. I would definitely stay at this fantastic hotel again!

Well situated for business and pleasure

Visited Le Louise for a conference and to take in some of the city slights. The hotel is in a great location to walk to some of the city centre sites and has some high quality conference facilities for businesses. We found the rooms well appointed, the garden restaurant a nice feature, the staff (especially front desk) very helpful and engaging, and the quality of the food - individual and buffet style - was good. Even better if the service at the restaurant was not so slow (gave up paying at the table and went to the desk) - more staffing here please, the seating in the rooms was a little more comfortable - even it looks good, there was a bit more choice on the TV. The reception area is also sparse when conferences are live. That being said, would recommend and certainly visit again.

Had some truly excellent service here.

We do love an MGallery and seek them out in various parts of the world. This one is ‘on point’ nice clean rooms, super shower with good L’Occitane products. Couple of niggles. The bar area in the courtyard kept being closed, even though the weather was perfect. Also the breakfast offering is good but not great. They could really use some more options. Hotel is well located and handy to the metro, a quick trip to the Grand Place etc. the biggest highlight was front desk staff Esther. My goodness she went over and above with her service.

unfortunately not such a good stay this time

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

I am an ALL Accor Diamond member and stay regularly in this hotel. For this 1 night stay I used a "suite upgrade voucher" to upgrade to a suite from a normal room. I was allocated suite/room 516 which was beside the lifts. In particular the bedroom area was beside the lift shaft. When I went to bed there was constant low-level noise preventing me from getting to sleep. I turned off the room air conditioning and opened the room windows but the noise was not coming from outside. Eventually I deduced the noise was from the lifts constantly going up and down and lift doors opening. By 22.30 I decided I would not be able to sleep in this room so I asked them to move me to a "normal" quieter room and moved to room 530. I feel slightly unhappy at having used the suite upgrade voucher but not being able to enjoy the suite/ needing to move to an ordinary room. I booked another stay in this hotel in August for 2 nights using 2 suite upgrade vouchers but will need to ask not to be allocated this room 516 again. My welcome drink was also not very nice, the Mojito I ordered tasted different/not as nice to those I have previously enjoyed in the hotel, the staff also didn't give the normal small bowls of snacks that they usually offer with these ALL Accor member welcome drinks
