Perfect location, exceptional staff

100% amazing! I'll never forget my stay at the Kimpton Bem in Budapest, which was absolutely marvelous. As soon as I stepped inside, I felt inspired by the incredible décor and level of service, as if I had been transported to another time and place. I always felt excited to come back to the hotel. The location on Bem Jozsef Square is extremely convenient, especially for using the city trams. I'd highly recommend taking a meal in their restaurant underneath the geometric pillars, or in the nook with the large mural of the stag. The breakfast is not to be missed, with an incredible array of options, perfectly cooked eggs, and delicious pastries and breads. But back to the design- I really enjoyed how the artistic elements touched on Budapest's history and mythology, especially with combining Ottoman and Hapsburg design motifs. The hallways are lit by old fashioned lanterns, and the wallpaper looks like leather-bound library books. The murals in the guest rooms touch the floor and continue into the design of the carpet, and match the green tile of the bathrooms. These artistic touches are incredible. In the guest rooms, the linens, duvets and pillows are wonderful. The mattresses are firm, and I found them to be really comfortable. The spa is top notch, with a beautifully tiled immersion pools, steam and sauna rooms, and a flaked ice machine! I've talked a lot about the design elements, but what touched me the most were my experiences with the staff. Everyone I encountered went above and beyond to help me. I was treated with kindness and graciousness, even when my requests were a little high maintenance. I feel genuinely moved by how well I was treated. I really loved my stay here, and want the world to know about how incredible this place is!

This hotel has only been around for a couple of years, but it’s already got a well established feel to it. Everything is well appointed, considered, and executed flawlessly. From the decor, to the rooms, to the food and restaurants, the hotel already feels like one of the best parts of Budapest..

This five-star, One Michelin Key Preferred Partner hotel in Budapest is as perfect as you can get. When I contacted the team via email to VIP the client (myself), they were immediately responsive to every question and need. When I arrived, I felt right at home. I was welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine. What's not to love about that? The staff members were some of the kindest and most professional I've ever met. Key staff members like the concierge and the food and beverage manager make sure to meet and welcome me to the hotel as both a partner and a guest. I cannot say enough about how outstanding all the staff was. My IHG Platinum member membership was recognized and all IHG Destined perks were honored.

Beautiful luxury hotel with excellent customer service. Good breakfast included with a wide variety of options. Lobby and rooftop bar and free happy hour with wine or beer. Nice location right by the Danube River and has a great view of the parliament building just down the street to the right.
