Although we chose the Jousten because of its proximity to the Buquebus ferry terminal, it is well located for exploring barrio Puerto Madero. Front desk service was prompt and professional, and the lobby had a carafe of ice water. The door was manned by a security guard. A renovated historic hotel, its rooms are compact, but thoughtfully arranged and tastefully decorated. Our room had a small refrigerator and ample closet storage, as well as a large wall-mounted mirror. Room lighting was well-designed, and one can choose between bright lights or ambient lighting. When we determined that our wall-mounted thermostat was inoperative, a technician arrived within five minutes to replace it. The shower, with an overhead rainfall head and wand delivered hot water almost instantaneously, and at a good pressure. Our room was on the 7th floor, which was high enough to avoid most of the street noise. All told, we were thoroughly impressed with the Jousten.

The room was fine, one coffee pod and one dressing gown even though it was booked for two people. Staff at check in were fine. Unfortunately the food was inedible in the restaurant. The photos speak for themselves and it was over 42,000 pesos.

Without exception the staff made our stay very enjoyable. They were all very helpful and pleasant creating a warm ambience to a city centre hotel. Our room was well furnished with a new bathroom. The breakfast was buffet style with freshly cooked eggs to order at no extra cost. One of our laundry orders was overlooked and the manager arranged a superfast turnround. Location is close to the new restaurants of the port area, the refurbished Colon Theatre and Plaza de Mayo.

Grear location, perhaps one of the best characteristhics of the hotel. Great attention on the front desk and a very nice quick breakfast. Overall the rooms and bathroom are very nice. Altough problems with the AC make me change rooms after an awful first night. The AC on the other room was better, but still not good. Hopefully they will solve the AC Issue.

Small rooms, small beds, and you cannot control how cool or cold you want the room to be. Good breakfast. The hotel rooms are nicely appointed , the lobby area is nice. Pretty good location in a quieter part of town. Has potential to be a better experience.
