I don’t understand the positive reviews of this hotel. The check in process was poorly communicated and late. I don’t mind check in being delayed but we kept being told “a few minutes” when it was well over an hour later that the room was ready. No offer for a drink at the bar or even directions on the hotel layout while we waited. The park one bedroom suite is exceptionally poorly furnished, specifically the living room. It feels like a dentist office waiting room. Just a big desk, two chairs at the desk, and two waiting room style chairs. No couch. No rug. No warmth at all. On top of that it’s impossible to turn the bathroom lights fully on while keeping the bedroom lights fully off. If you turn the bathroom lights on, the overhead lights in the closet turn on, which is connected to the bedroom without and partition or door. So if you want to shower while your partner is still sleeping, you’re SOL. Just incredibly illogical all around. Positive notes are the grounds are very nice, and the staff are well intentioned if not the most polished (at least my check in agent wasn’t). I doubt I’ll be back, which is a shame. I had high hopes for this hotel. I’ll just get an Airbnb next time and skip the empty ritziness of the Recoleta hotels.

The property is beautiful and all of the hotel staff are incredibly helpful, and friendly! All around 10/10 experience.

First, it feels super-safe and secluded inside a major world city. The staff tried very hard to please. The room (we had a suite) was good for us and our 16-year-old daughter. The shower was fabulous. The views from the room were a little disappointing, but that is about the only drawback. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the dinner restaurants. We loved the seclusion. The pool was adequate for what we needed.

Nice, luxury hotel in Buenos Aires’ Recoleta district. The hotel is in the beautiful, nearly 100 years old Palacio Duhau building, which is the main attraction factor of this hotel. Rooms are nice too. Very typical Park Hyatt style but probably due for an update within the next few years. I only stayed here for a short two night business trip and unfortunately didn’t get to try any of the onsite restaurants.
