Beware on pricing of wine!! We misunderstood the pricing on a bottle of Pinot at Alfredo’s restaurant. Which we acknowledge was our mistake. Our story… We ordered a bottle of Pinot and just AFTER, the bottle was opened and our waiter poured us each a glass of wine, the waiter made a point of mentioning to my husband “ you realize the wine is $400 USD a bottle ”. After which we shocking said we did not want it. However too late for us. After speaking to many managers, directors of the restaurants , guest services etc. etc. Our compensation…a free dinner. Not a sufficient compensation. Very poorly handled by the hotel in our option. We struggled to get through our meal and left the very expensive hotel very, very upset. Sorry Marriott Mena House but you failed your guests!!

We had an amazing time at the Mena House. The service was fantastic and the location was perfect! Mahmoud Helmy and Suzy at the breakfast and lunch restaurant provided the best customer service, and Ahmla checked on us often. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel while in Giza. It is the best!

Hotel with fantastic location near the pyramids and the GEM. Beautiful swimming pools and also restarants. The food was good in the indian and italian restaurants. The rooms are a but old style and dusty. The service is a problem. We had issues at reception where they assigned us different rooms vs what we had. We soent two hours trying to get the additional beds we needed. We also had two weddings and it was very noisy until late. With young kids not ideal.

Staye our Nile cruise in March 2025 before our Nile cruise and loved this hotel. Everything exceeded my expectations. We were so close to the pyramids in that we could walk to them. Took several excursions and had a blast... best Marriott property I ever visited and I traveled my entire career. Stay here you will not regret your decision

Went for the breakfast, great views and service, however, breakfast is average. Cost is 1400 EGP per person. The staff are very friends and accommodating. The hotel grounds is well maintained. Just be careful of the crows. Could stay there all day.
