Set between a national park and a marine reserve, Amanoi embraces nature from its beachside perch on the southern coast of Vietnam. The pristine waters of Vinh Hy Bay are ideal for exploration, both on the craggy coast and under the deep blue, where colourful coral and schools of tropical fish reside. Hiking in the park reveals Vietnam’s untouched wilderness, alive with myriad plants and birds. Amanoi is a meditative retreat on the coast of Nui Chua National Park, one of Vietnam’s largest natural conservation sites. Hugged by rolling, evergreen-covered hills, the resort looks over the East Sea and pristine Vinh Hy Bay.

From the moment we arrived at Amanoi, we were completely captivated. The setting is breathtakingly beautiful, but what makes this resort truly extraordinary is the care, thought, and love shown in every detail. The food deserves special mention – it is simply outstanding. The menu offers three full pages of Vietnamese dishes and three full pages of Western options, and that’s just in the Central Pavlion. The Beach Club has an equally impressive menu, with ample variety Every dish we tried was of the highest quality, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. The service is genuinely second to none. Every interaction is warm and thoughtful, with small touches that make you feel not only looked after but truly cherished. We would like to thank the entire team for their kindness, and especially those we had the pleasure of seeing almost every day. The facilities are exceptional. The spa is world-class, the range of activities is extensive, and the fully equipped Pilates studio is something I’ve never encountered at any other resort. The bar is another highlight, with mixologists Vincente and Nhan crafting exquisite cocktails that celebrate Vietnam’s most beautiful ingredients in creative, memorable ways. We cannot recommend Amanoi highly enough. It is a perfect blend of luxury, authenticity, and heartfelt service. Without a doubt, we will be returning – Amanoi is, quite simply, the best Aman resort in the world.

Our stay at Amanoi was a beautifully curated experience from the moment we landed. We requested FastTrack service at Ho Chi Minh airport, and it was flawlessly handled—quick, smooth, and incredibly efficient. The airport staff member who met us was very, very helpful and guided us through everything effortlessly. The transfer to the resort was impeccable—luxurious, comfortable cars with professional, courteous drivers, setting the tone for what would be a memorable stay. We stayed in a private pool villa with a view that was absolutely breathtaking—one of the best we’ve experienced. The space was peaceful, secluded, and designed with understated elegance. It’s the kind of place that instantly slows your pace and resets your mind. However, visiting during the rainy season brought some challenges. Strong winds limited outdoor activities, and there were quite a few millipedes—inside the room, on the bed, washroom floor, and especially on the pool deck. It’s something to be mindful of in a tropical rainforest setting, but thankfully, the housekeeping staff were outstanding—quick, respectful, and incredibly detailed in keeping our villa clean and comfortable. A true highlight was Amanoi’s wellness facilities. The Pilates studio was fully equipped with Reformers and a full Cadillac—an absolute rarity and a dream for any Pilates enthusiast. The gym was spacious and well-stocked, and the outdoor yoga pavilion was serene and stunning, surrounded by nature and overlooking the lush landscape. The food was beautifully plated but didn’t quite suit our taste over the first few days. However, when we shared our feedback, the chef personally visited us and prepared a delicious custom Asian meal, which we truly appreciated. The GM and the entire management team were gracious and took excellent care of us, which really elevated our overall experience. The resort itself is expansive and quiet, perfect for long walks and moments of solitude. While the walk to the main restaurant involves stairs and a bit of distance, the buggy service was always prompt and efficient. We also visited the nearby fishing village, which was a charming and worthwhile local excursion. All in all, Amanoi is a peaceful, luxurious retreat with outstanding staff and remarkable attention to detail. If you avoid the rainy season, this property can offer an unforgettable escape blending natural beauty, privacy, and world-class service. We left feeling deeply cared for—and that’s the hallmark of true hospitality.

Amanoi is our 8th Aman, and it's one of the best we have ever been to. the setting is absolutely stunning. The backdrop with the rocky mountain terrain, facing the vinh hy bay is gorgeous. The whole hotel blends seamlessly into the environment, and everywhere you go reminds you that you are situated within a national park. We stayed in the ocean pool villa, which is adequately sized for the two people. We are normally quite active and would book at least one excursion per day at Aman, but here at Amanoi, we never felt the need to do anything other than to relax in our room and swim, or head down to the beach for a bit of snorkelling. The massage was world class and the hydrotherapy suite with the steam room, hot and cold plunge facing the lotus lake is a highlight. Services was as usual very good, and F&B was decent. The only small negative would be that this is a BIG aman - with over 30 villas and 9 residences, with more residences on the way. Do expect to run into a lot of big groups and families, and scenic spots at the restaurants do get filled up quickly, and at peak you could feel things are a bit busy at the only restaurant there. But we were told a new restaurant will be built on the new phase of Noi. However when we mentioned it during a chat at breakfast to Nhi Tran, the ever so brilliant assistant manager. Then at the same night at dinner, to our surprise, we found the restaurant pleasantly empty. Nhi returned and told us she tried her best to arrange a lot of private and special dining as a result of our feedback. This is how good services at Amanoi can get. We did try the sacred cham dinner and the rock studio dinner, unfortunately my wife didn't enjoy the Cham style food much. And at our dinner at the rock studio, it was too windy so it was indoor, which made it a bit less special. Nonetheless, with capacity running at record high, I'd still recommend doing special dining just to get away from the crowds, and to add some variety to just dining at your room. All in all a great stay here, we stayed 4 nights and felt it was a good amount of time, I think 4-5n here would be perfect. We love our stay so much that we are making plans to return next year, making it our first return visit to any non city hotel. It really is that special.

We’ve been to Amanoi several times and always had an enjoyable experience overall. Location and architecture are amazing, food is generally good and service is superb. Staff are very hospitable and helpful, and with high attention to detail. More importantly, attempts for improvements are clear & I’m impressed that our recent butlers are very hands-on and helped fix lots of service slip-ups we encountered in our earlier stays. However, some staff members are probably undertrained - including spa therapists and restaurant staff; e.g. they might get visibly flustered if we ask when a dish is being served. At this price point we’d expect service quality to be more consistent, not certain staff members compensating for others.

Unbelievable Aman. Lovely staff, amazing property. All of the staff was so attentive and treated each guest like they knew us. There is literally nothing to complain about. We stay at Aman hotels all around the world and this one was one of the best. We recommend fully. Enjoy!
