Beautiful Hotel

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Stunning hotel! Lovely looking on the outside and amazing on the inside. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was really beautiful and had a great shower. We will definitely stay again.

Fantastic stay in the heart of Cambridge

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Excellent experience at the University Arms during my stay in Cambridge, a city that I loved so much! The hotel is a beautiful historical building in the very heart of the city centre, with luxurious salons and lounges (the library with fireplace is my favourite room). Staff is young and extremely nice, check in was smooth and, as a Bonvoy Titanium guest, I had a nice room upgrade facing the park, breakfast and food&beverage credit. Room was small but cosy and elegant, I got a chocolate bar as a gift. I had breakfast and a dinner at the "Parker's Tavern" restaurant, both very good. The location is unbeatable for visiting the city and its surroundings. I'll go back to Cambridge very soon, staying at the University Arms!

Terrible noise until late

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Horrendous noise until very late from party in the ballroom. You could feel the vibrations from the music and heavy bass as well as hear it. They said they’d ask them to turn it down - made no difference. We came for a relaxing weekend. Ruined our stay.

Great location and characterful hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

This is a historic property that has been beautifully and respectfully renovated. It’s in a great location in the centre of Cambridge overlooking a park and within walking distance to the station. The property itself has good sized rooms, a nice shower and very comfy beds. We’ve stayed here previously and decided to stay for a long weekend for a wedding in Royston. Nothing to complain about. Highly recommended!

Highly recommended, room for some small improvements

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

The service experienced in this hotel has to be some of the best personally seen in England. The room was well appointed, with the corner bathroom being the highlight. Bed was comfortable. Terrace had good views of the park and perfect for enjoying a morning coffee. The room was described as a ‘suite’, but, whilst large, did not have a separate room or at the least adequate living furniture. There were some signs of wear and tear, with the carpet starting to fray.
