Kempinski Hotel Cancun

We stayed at the Kempinski Hotel Cancún to celebrate our 10-year anniversary, and it was an excellent choice. The resort consistently delivers a level of service and comfort that’s hard to find in the area. The beach is one of the best in Cancún — wide, uncrowded, and far more spacious than neighboring resorts where chairs are packed closely together. The overall atmosphere is calm, refined, and never feels busy or chaotic. Service is where the Kempinski truly stands out. The beach and pool team took great care of us throughout our stay. Claudia was wonderful in our palapa, and Sergio, who manages the beach and pool areas, was always present and attentive. Jorge, Rangel, and Mario made sure drinks and anything else we needed were handled quickly. Valenzo also deserves recognition for looking out for us from the moment we arrived. The concierge team was helpful both before and during our stay. Miguel and Antonio coordinated transportation and reservations seamlessly, and everything ran smoothly thanks to the behind-the-scenes efforts of Ruben. We also enjoyed excellent service at D-Lounge and The Club Grill — thank you to Blanca, Williams, and their teams. The Club Level staff provided consistent, personal service; Goreti makes a great martini, and Migdelia keeps everything running efficiently. We’ve stayed at many resorts in Cancún, including higher-priced options, and the Kempinski continues to be our top choice. A great resort for a special occasion or simply a relaxing, well-run stay.

We ate in the hotel several times at different venues. All were excellent in both food and service. The outdoor patio grill was especially good. Joel remembered my name and my choice of drink each time I ate lunch there. He was friendly and professional. We look forward to returning some day.

I just returned from a trip to the Kempinski Resort in Cancun. As I look out at the snow in NY I realize that it isn’t just the beautiful weather in Cancun I’m missing. It’s the wonderful people I had the honor of interacting with. Our friends on Club Level, Goretty, Eliseo, Iliana, Oscar, and Alberto were very friendly and always available. Josue always checked on us at the beach. He always wanted to make us more comfortable. It was good to see Wilberth back at the resort! He is warm and friendly and always looking to help in any way he can. Trinidad kept the room immaculate and always greeted us with a smile. The staff at the restaurant were always friendly and eager to help in any way they could. We enjoyed their delicious breakfast buffet! I can’t say enough about The Ladies in Red, Caroly and Michelle who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The resort is beautifully maintained. The room was spacious and immaculate. I find nothing to criticize. The beach is also beautiful and debris and seaweed is quickly removed. The restaurants are excellent and there are many choices near the hotel. If you need a taxi they are friendly and will happily return to bring you back to the resort. Everyone is willing to accept US currency even though it’s probably inconvenient for them to do so. I come to the same resort every year with my best friend and Sergio and his team are five-star. The service is amazing. I rent a cabana every year and it's worth the money because the service is so excellent. I travel all over the world and this is the best service that I get in any part of the world.
