Very clean, relaxing place. Variety of amenities to enjoy, indoor and outdoors. Liked the fact that they have 2 different swimming pools and slides for one of them.

So I’ll start by saying this was Mother's Day weekend but it was also our 10 year anniversary. I highly recommend tequila tasting at Ponto Lago if you can get the gentleman who knows the tequila. We did it twice and our experience was vastly different with the guy they call the Tequila Sommelier. I forget his name. Our Cabana hostess at the adult pool was also great. What’s where the highlights end. There was a lot of noise in the rooms from people in the hallways, bathroom doors or patio doors, etc. We were up all night Friday and Saturday. We did not receive turn down service any night. Housekeeping came Saturday and Sunday but it was very late at night The wait times for breakfast was way to long considering there was only 1 restaurant. I could not use the breakfast credit for room service I had issues booking a cabana at the pool. I texted back and forth with the front desk after I had confirmed with the pool attendant there was availability. She was quite rude and sent screenshots that it was no availability. My husband went back to the pool and they advised their system was broken and she was able to figure out how to book it for us There were no dog bowls available.

My wife and I took a short trip down to Carlsbad with our toddler son to celebrate our recent sixth wedding anniversary as well as her birthday. We have realized that long distance traveling with our son is exhausting, to say the least, so this weekend trip was perfect for us. The resort is beautiful, very well-maintained, and the staff were amazing. A very cute gift was left in the room for my son, as well as chocolate for me and my wife. The grounds are beautiful and we very much enjoyed strolling around while pushing our son in the stroller for his nap. In all, it was a perfect weekend. Thank you, Hyatt!

The hotel was beautiful. The first night we got excellent service at the lobby bar from Matt. The second day we enjoyed the pool area where Laura made sure we had everything we needed. Jenna and Andrew at the bar took great care of us the second day as well. The valet team was awesome, especially Craig. I am a resort manager and was very pleased with the service given while on this trip.

The service was great and staff helpful! Food was also very good. Hope to be back again soon! Thank you!
