The Dewberry, part of the LVX collection of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, is a posh boutique hotel offering old world charm juxtaposed with a distinctive modern edge. The rooms, sophisticated and ageless, take inspiration from mid-century decor and the low country’s genteel roots. Suites and deluxe rooms are decked out with copper sconces, gold-plated mirrors and floor-to-ceiling windows for extensive city views. The hotel’s French brassiere, Henrietta’s, serves exquisite breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful location, amazing service and staff. This has to be a must place to stay when visiting Charleston.

Cannot say enough about the Dewberry Hotel and staff that make the stay memorable. The hotel sits in the heart of the action that Charleston has to offer, while also proving a relaxing and luxurious stay when not exploring the city and its historircal sites.

Great location and wonderful place to stay. It was within walking distance to King Street. The farmers market on Saturday was enjoyable with lots of food options. Very helpful staff.

Absolute worst hotel room EVER. There was a rattling noise in the walls and water dripping in the walls all night long. I learned from other hotel guests that 2 other couples had previously requested to move out. At this price point you would think management would be accommodating and offer some sort of credit. Instead they asked why I did not request a change in rooms, they did not refund the night stay. They did offer to refund half the incidentals and said they would get back to me. I still have not heard back. The Citrus Bar is great - but there are many other fabulous hotels in Charleston!!!

While I loved the Dewberry, I am not sure it was worth the price. The service was impeccable. From the valet staff, front desk, concierge and bell service, everyone was truly top notch in providing a memorable anniversary getaway. We stayed in a corner flat, which was nice, but not worth the extra cost in my opinion. While the room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the bathroom was impressive, the view we had was not the greatest. Our corner view overlooked the garbage dumpsters, a parking lot and the air conditioners, so I was a bit disappointed considering the price we paid. The Citrus Club was a must visit and we were able to have drinks/appetizers up there 2 of the 4 days we stayed. I was disappointed on our last day when we put our name on the list and were told there were only 2 hotel guests ahead of us. After 45 min, I asked the hostess how much longer and she informed us that they take reservations on Friday's between 12 and 2 which includes anyone not staying at the hotel, and that was why it was taking so long. We gave up after an hour and 15 min. Personally I think hotel guests should always get priority as that was one of the reasons we choose the Dewberry. The car service provided was a great feature and we took advantage of it every night for going to dinner. Overall, the Dewberry was beautiful and the service was fantastic, but I'm not sure I would stay there again.
