I happened to be on a work trip, over my birthday. We stayed at Emeline, and while we stay in hotels all over, the stay here was exceptional! Ashley took amazing care of us from the time we checked in, until we turned in for the night. Giving us a bottle of champagne to celebrate, in addition to leaving the nicest card on my hotel room door. It was an experience to remember!

beware of resort charge of $40. this hotel is overrated. small and average room. $450. for one night and then the added charge. There are better hotels in Charleston at this price.

We celebrated our daughter’s birthdays. Everything was great! Especially Treasure and Mark at valet. Went above and beyond. So welcoming, tons of help at check in.

We had brunch for my birthday at Frannie and the Fox. Rebecca S. was a great server and very attentive! The drinks took a long time but the food was great! Great brunch spot

Okay, so I said I was going to do a detailed review because I didn’t see any when I was trying to book so here it goes. I did a 4 day and 3 night stay at Emeline. It is on more on the pricey side so be mindful. So there is some parking across from the hotel I think they were at $40/day but the hotel also offers valet I think at $53/day and honestly you might as well get the valet. More convenient and they will get your at any time of day or night right to the front. Okay check in. There were people saying check in desk was hidden, just go up the stairs and it’s on the left. When paying for room there is a $100/day incidental fee. So for me $300 extra on top of room but after stay they get that back to you pretty fast. Also they offer a rum cocktail to all guests upon checking in. Be careful for fruit allergies, I think pineapple was in it which was one of the things my partner was allergic. We didn’t do hotel restaurant or bar so I can’t help there but there are many restaurants all around the area in walking distance and they have bicycles with carriages $20/person that will take you all around. We went in the 4th of July to Vendue to watch fireworks but was highly disappointed. Not a good view and it was better from Emeline parking lot. Staff was very friendly. Watch out for restaurants that are very close to hotel, they are pricey but not as good. Take a little trip and explore much better prices and better tasting food restaurants around Charleston. Rooms - Hallways are pretty dark, I didn’t mind that but the rooms are very small. Nice but very small. I think I had the algier?? Did have a view of the courtyard which was beautiful. They do offer comfy robes. Housekeeping was very respectful and helpful. They allow dogs so you will see people with their dogs. Smokers- you can smoke cigarettes right outside. Don’t do anything else 😂 Valet was amazing! They will bring up your items on check in and check out. You can a qr code for your car and they get it.
