Timeless and relaxing.
Conveniently located within walking distance to many attractions in Charleston. The staff is friendly we were greeted at the door and helped take our luggage to our room while we checked in. Easy check in. The hotel has a historic atmosphere. We enjoyed tea and coffee in the parlor. The Peninsula grill is a must. Our room overlooked the courtyard and was very comfortable and roomy.

Exceptional Stay in Charleston
Great central location, exceptional staff, wonderful food and just an overall terrific 5 days in Charleston...felt like home and within walking distance of just about everything. We'll be back!

On foot in historic Charleston
Superb location, right at the heart of historic Charleston. Lots to explore on foot. No need for a car. Trips (Boone Plantation) booked down the street at the tourist office, pick up and drop off at the hotel. Bar and food are excellent but are spoilt for choice with so many restaurants a short walk away. Staff are friendly and very helpful. We will be coming back.

Not worth $725/day for a weekday stay.
It was interesting that everyday during our stay had a different price (Monday - Thursday), with parking the stay was $725/day and we did not feel we received that much value for the spend.
