About the Hotel

Unique bit of Chicago history.
Unique and classic amenities. Everything tastefully appointed and in keeping with the history of the building. Staff very accommodating. Will certainly return.

Amazing place to stay right near the Bean!
The hotel room was nicely appointed with robes being provided. We loved the style of the room and the soaker tub was great. We were so excited to find the Game Room and Library. These inviting spaces allow guests to stay and really enjoy the hotel. The free games in the Game Room were a huge bonus! The ambiance of the library made it a great spot to sit with a cup of coffee or cocktail. Don't forget to go to the upstairs bar! The views were stunning and they had cozy fires to keep you warm. The location is so convenient with a short walk to Millennium Park and other local attractions. The Chicago Athletic Association was so inviting and enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

Avoid this scam hotel at all costs
Worthless hotel. Flight was canceled, and in spite of calling ahead to let them know I wouldn't be there, they charged me $300 extra for that night without telling me. My 6th floor room was tiny, and faced industrial duct-work (so I kept the windows covered through my stay). Antiquated fixtures, not even a towel rack or dresser. Stear clear of this scam dump. Silver lining is the beautiful rooftop bars, and some of the employees were courteous
