Perfect First Impression!
My wife and I came to Chicago to celebrate our 38th anniversary and as soon as the elevator doors open to the lobby we were immediately greeted with a warm “Welcome to the Gwen” from Luigi. He made our check in process seamless and absolutely delightful! Luigi was the perfect first impression to Hotel Gwen.

Tipsy Tea 🫖
We had a relaxing stay at The Gwen and particularly enjoyed Tipsy Tea. The food and cocktails were delicious. I loved all of the savory bites and specifically the dark chocolate lemon tart. Axel and Gloria delivered top-notch service!

Great Hotel in the heart of downtown Chicago!
We were looking for a hotel near Eataly. The Gwen is a two minute walk away! This was the first hotel where I’ve seen a vending machine for champagne! The staff at the front desk were excellent. Luigi and Hannah were excellent guides in getting us oriented to all the things available at the hotel. We very much enjoyed the outdoor bar/seating area which had plenty of staff to take care of your needs. We would definitely recommend a stay here!

Highly recommend this location
The check-in was excellent. There was a line, but it moved quickly and efficiently. The front desk attendant was excellent, kind and provided us with a smooth check-in. Gave us a complimentary upgrade, free breakfast and drink vouchers. The hotel is in a great location surrounded by restaurants and nice bars. Highly recommend staying at this location when visiting Chicago.
