We had such a great experience at Nobu and loved celebrating our anniversary here. There were a couple small mixups at the beginning, but honestly, the team completely turned it around and went above and beyond with their service and attention. Aldo was an amazing rooms director and made sure everything was taken care of right away. Victor was super attentive in the bar restaurant and made everything feel special, and Anthony at the front desk was welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. The level of care and genuine hospitality really stood out and made our anniversary feel extra special. We truly felt looked after and appreciated, and we would absolutely come back.

I stayed at the Nobu Hotel Chicago for my 30th birthday, and it was the best decision! They truly go above and beyond. From the moment I stepped out of the car, I was warmly greeted and someone was immediately ready to take our bags. The bellman, Derrick, was incredibly kind and helpful. We checked in before our room was ready, and when we came back later, our bags were already in the room waiting for us. The night front desk associate, Jack, was also amazing—anything we needed was provided without hesitation. The service made the entire experience feel special and memorable.

Most notably, Emily Santiago from Concierge Services surprised us with an upgrade to a villa in honor of my wife’s birthday. It was completely unexpected and profoundly kind. In a season where parents often fade into logistics, this gesture made my wife feel genuinely celebrated and seen. The room itself was arranged with such care: elegant florals, chilled champagne waiting for us, and a sense that someone had truly prepared the space for us, not just for guests in general. These details immediately set the tone — calm, celebratory, and restorative. One of the most memorable parts of the stay was the bath prepared for the evening — a perfect invitation to unwind after months of newborn life and the pace of everyday demands. We ended up saving it for the next morning instead, using it as a quiet recovery ritual after birthday celebrations — an unhurried, grounding moment that felt like a gift to ourselves. We enjoyed the property so much that we canceled our evening dinner plans elsewhere and chose to stay in the hotel instead. Everything we needed was right there: comfort, privacy, and a sense of ease that made leaving feel unnecessary. That choice alone speaks volumes. Throughout our stay, service was seamless — attentive without intrusion, warm without pretense. Nobu’s approach to luxury is subtle and deeply human. It’s not about excess; it’s about care.
