Park Hyatt Chicago

The Park Hyatt is one of my favorite hotels in Chicago. It is luxurious and has many amenities, including an excellent fitness center and restaurant/bar area. The rooms are well maintained and comfortable, and fit the modern Japanese aesthetic that Park Hyatts generally have. Most important, the rooms are cozy and inviting. The location by the Water Tower on Michigan is perfect for visiting the CBD or tourist sites. I really recommend this hotel for business or personal stays.

The Park Hyatt Chicago is a gem. The location is ideal, the staff is exemplary and the facility is well-designed and maintained. Good value for the price.

Ultra high class experience. The bidets were the best part. I plan to come back again. I need to add more characters to this review, oh that's enough.

Best hotel experience we have had in awhile. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The doorman were welcoming and helpful with luggage, the front desk people were also helpful and friendly, everyone who worked there was attentive and made the stay enjoyable. The room was large and bathroom was amazing. Great location and proximity to shopping and restaurants.

The hotel was in a great location, extremely clean, wonderful Resturaunt, rooms were clean and big bathroom was beautiful and shower pressure was amazing, also beautiful views of the lake. The downsides… check in was terrible my husband and I checked in and the lady at the front desk was very short, impatient and rude. She said it would be a minute before we could actually check in. This was at 1:30pm and I requested early check a few weeks back. But I understand since check in is not until 4pm. However everyone checking in was being assigned to rooms. Everytime we would ask for an update she would say housekeeping is not done. So I finally reached out to a different person at the front desk and her name was Maya. She was so sweet apologetic and attentive. She immediately called housekeeping and gave us an update and of course within a few minutes our room was ready. I can’t quite understand why nice hotels like this would place people at the front desk who either don’t care or are not good in hospitality. It really ruins a first impression. I at least thought they would offer a room upgrade or something for the long wait. But nothing. Another problem is the paper thin walls and windows. You can hear the sirens in downtown all night! Our neighbor was also very loud and had a small party. If you are looking for that extra above and beyond service like the langham or st Regis this would not be the hotel. But overall it was nice
