Hands Down the Worst hotel experience ever. 30 minute check-in, 70 minute delivery for room service - and even then the order was incomplete. The Killer was the street noise. Non-stop honking and revving of high horsepower engines. Until 3AM. And fire engines screaming by every 10 or 15 minutes. Earplugs offered by the property did little. No thanks, never again.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights and overall had a very positive experience. It’s a very nice property, centrally located in the heart of the Loop. As with any busy urban area, the location comes with both advantages and a few drawbacks. **Cons:** Street noise is definitely present. I had read about this in other reviews, and it turned out to be true (for us). Our initial room was on the 17th floor, and after the first night, we requested to be moved due to the noise. The staff was very understanding and relocated us quickly and without any hassle to a room on the 22nd floor. We also picked up some earplugs, which helped. After our move and purchase of ear plugs no issues at all for the older folks . That said, I was traveling with my sister (we're in our 50s), and we were a bit more sensitive to noise. Our younger travel companions (ages 16 and 23) didn’t notice the street sounds at all. Keep in mind that this is the Loop—one of the busiest parts of Chicago—so some level of noise is unavoidable. **Pros:** The location is excellent for getting around. It’s within easy walking distance to train lines, the Riverwalk, and plenty of attractions, restaurants, and shops. The hotel staff was truly outstanding—some of the friendliest I’ve encountered in a long time. The staff in each department get 7 stars. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with soft towels and high-quality bath products. The gym was well-equipped, and free bottled and filtered water was available both in the gym and at the front desk. The in-room filtered water feature was a thoughtful touch, and you can easily refill bottles during your stay. **Overall:** If you’re planning to stay in the Loop and want a modern, clean hotel with excellent service, this is a great choice. I would return.

I found a maggot on one of my towels after taking a shower. The front desk supervisor continued emailing My financial details to the wrong email address, even after I highlighted the issue to him. It looks like my American Express fine hotels, and resort benefits were not applied to my invoice correctly. The hotel is a beautiful historic building, but that means you’re getting thin windows lots of street noise and frankly a Run down building. I would recommend staying at the Langham, the Trump, even the Westin on Dearborn. anywhere but the pendry. I’m really glad they’re automated form suggested I share my feedback on TripAdvisor, even after giving them internally negative reviews at least they are consistent here. I did not seek to actively post on TripAdvisor, but was instead recommended by them to post my review on TripAdvisor

Great hotel. Muriel Tan at the front desk is literally Wonder Woman! We have returned to the Pendry multiple times due to her. Dilopo and Lazurick, the bell men are awesome also

Stayed here for 3 days their location is great you can walk everywhere but the hotel also offers bikes, and even the house car. Amazing service always checking up on everyone and a great and comfortable stay! Perry was amazing and treated guests so good!
