Plenty of room to spread out and relax in the studio room. Facing Michigan Avenue there was definitely street noise, but that's to be expected in the city. Excellent service from the staff. On this trip only visited the gym to get water, but it was impressive! If you are a gym rat, this is your hotel.

A beautiful building with lovely rooms: nicely appointed, clean, fabulously comfortable beds and the best hotel pillows I think I have ever had! The public spaces were comfortable (though the elevators a bit rogue during our visit) Staff (especially our porter/bellboy who was so obliging booking cabs etc) very welcoming. Love the 'reception tea' by the way! Very conveniently located for the river, shops and touristy sight seeing.

Here’s a polished draft you can post as a review. It keeps things upbeat, honest, and lightly playful without turning snarky: We really enjoyed our stay at The Pendry Chicago, and a big part of that is the location—it’s nearly perfect. Right on Michigan Avenue, it’s an easy walk to Millennium Park, the Loop, and the Magnificent Mile. You’re squarely in the middle of everything, which is both a blessing and… occasionally audible. The hotel itself feels fresh and stylish after a recent renovation, and the room was comfortable and well-appointed. A special shout-out to the shower: the water pressure was outstanding. If showers were an Olympic sport, this one would medal. That said, the windows are not soundproof. Our room was on the 8th floor facing Wacker Place, and the street noise was noticeable, especially at night. I’d strongly recommend requesting a higher floor and a room not facing the street if you’re a light sleeper. The automated window coverings were a nice modern touch, though the controls were located on the wall next to the window—not exactly intuitive or convenient. Controls next to the bed are the standard in most hotels we've stayed at. Our biggest frustration involved breakfast. We received daily breakfast for two as part of our stay, but when we arrived at the restaurant, we were told it was fully booked with outside reservations and were offered a walk-up counter instead. It’s great that the restaurant is so popular, but it would have been helpful to know in advance that a reservation was necessary to actually use the breakfast credit. Overall, The Pendry is a lovely hotel with a prime location, excellent amenities, and a polished feel. With a quieter room location and clearer communication around breakfast, it would be close to perfect. We’d happily stay again—just a few floors higher and a few decibels lower.

We had a disappointing time at our recent stay at the Pendry. We could not enjoy any of the hotel’s restaurants as they've all been closed for private events. For breakfast we've had to take our order to go and eat in our room. Chateau carbide was closed too. The amenities expected from the fine hotels collection were completely missed and the management tried to lie that we must have had the do not disturb sign on which was completely false and disrespectful

Front desk staff couldn’t get the bill right. Kept overcharging us. Restaurant and room service- horrible service, got order wrong and didn’t care about food allergies. Walks are thin. Heard everything from the room next to ours. Elevators are useless if the hotel has an event. Had to wait 20 min to get one down from our room. Better places in Chicago to stay
