I arrived at the hotel very late, due to flight changes and cancelations, my group reservation was canceled for no show but that didn't matter to Romario who assisted me at the front desk at night, and Muriel in the morning. Simply the best! Polite, knowledgeable, made me feel like I was arriving and at a place like home. So, thank you very much! Happy 2026!

Unfortunately, my stay started off on a very poor note. The front desk associate who checked me in seemed visibly annoyed when I asked a simple question and told me to wait until she finished talking, which created an unwelcoming first impression. Additionally, there appeared to be a lack of communication between staff. Housekeeping was unaware that my room had a confirmed 4:00 PM late checkout and interrupted me to ask for verification. For a four-star hotel, I expect internal communication to be seamless rather than placed on the guest. The most concerning issue was finding a bloody stains on the robe in my room. This was extremely unsettling and completely ruined my expectations for this property. Cleanliness and professionalism are non-negotiable at this level, and unfortunately, this stay fell far short. (I took pictures if needed). I will say that the associate who assisted me at checkout was excellent. Friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Her service was a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing stay. I had high hopes, but overall the experience did not meet four-star standards.

From start to finish great experience. 2nd time here and we will be back! We like the location - we stop at Garrett’s and Stan’s donuts every time.

Plan for delays at the checkin. Avoid rooms toward the Michigan Ave if you want peaceful sleep. Very noisy due to traffic and emergency vehicles.

we absolutely adored our stay at the carbon suite. not only was the location exceptional but the staff was also very nice. I would love to stay here again with my family and everything was very nice. in addition to this the chateau carbide was a wonderful addition to our trip. I had no issues however it would be nice if the hotel rooms had virtual room tours or videos on the website to make it easyer to know what you where booking considering several rooms had similar pictures.
