Sofitel Chicago Magnificent Mile

We have a long history with this property going back many years, using them for special events and room blocks. They’ve been high level for the 15 years we’ve used them. This stay was different in that it was while I needed some medical treatment nearby and having moved out of the city a few years ago we couldn’t commute. It felt like home and we were very comfortable throughout. It’s become a little home away from home.

My wife and I stayed at the Sofitel Chicago for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The front desk staff was a pleasure to deal with and our room was very comfortable. We slept very well on the comfortable bed and the shower was excellent. The location was near many fabulous restaurants and retail stores. The HVAC in the room was problematic towards the end of our trip, but the staff was very helpful in trying to fix things. We'll definitely come back here again!

This was a lovely hotel. Service was excellent as was the location. A block or so from Michigan Avenue so activities were easily walkable and the train line was also close. We would definitely staff here again.

FIrstly, the front desk was very sweet. Landed up early, but because I was a member they gave me an early check in at 9 am. Thank you team. The room was nice and spacious. The bar was good. Though they didn't stock the beer they had on menu. No complaints as the alternative was equally good. Only reason that I have given 4 star is that they didn't have a buffet breakfast, that you would generally expect. Was told that it was Alacate only. Fortunetly had booked a room without breakfast. Hence, explored other options for the same. Would request the hotel to consider adding a breakfast package. Makes it super convinient in the morning. The location is fabulous, just on the maginficent mile. Strongly recommend

We have just spent 4 nights in this delightful hotel and also attended a big wedding in its ballroom. It was very easy too book on line and we also received invaluable help from the Director of Revenue Management, Amanda Lynch, who helped us with changes of rooms, cancellation and upgrading. She was a great introduction to the hotel as she couldn't do enough for us. The hotel is very well positioned, quiet. Clean , very spacious rooms very nicely furnished. We would go back without hesitation.
