Right in the heart of Chicago - perfect for a city trip
A fantastic hotel in the heart of Chicago, that I definitely can recommend. The rooms are very modern, nice, clean and offer everything you might need on a city trip. Millenium Park, the lake and river are in walking distance, and so is the CTA loop (elevated railway lines). A special thanks to Darrell from the front office, who was extremely friendly and helfpul - he made us feel welcome and comfortable from the first minute to the last. If you appreciate a professional and friendly service, he's your guy 😉

Clean Rooms, Great Service!
We had a lovely stay! Darrell was extremely kind, professional, and helpful. We had asked about room upgrades after hearing it was a perk of the In the Know program, and while they didn't have any available upgrades, Darrell bumped us up to a higher floor and offered us free breakfast coupons in addition to our complimentary wine vouchers. We greatly appreciated his kindness and would recommend Virgin Hotels Chicago solely based on our interaction with him! In addition, our room was clean and quiet. We wondered if we'd be able to hear street noise, but you could hear a pin drop. We were even near the elevators and never had any issues with noise. The beds were super comfy, the room stayed at a comfortable temperature, and our stay overall was wonderful!

David within the “In the know” bar, provided excellent service. He was kind and courteous and provided quick service despite being with a rather large group.

We had to change rooms as there was no blind at one of the windows and a spotlight from the car park opposite was shining straight into our room. The change was handled very well but the rooms are very tired and the mattresses too. Very soft and not very comfortable. The carpet was stained and dirty. Not what we expected from a Virgin Hotel. Would not stay again at this hotel in Chicago. The staff are lovely and the location is great, but expect more from Virgin
