No brainer in Loop near sights every time!
I've done an annual NYC to Chicago trip for almost 10 years and stay here every time. Never look anywhere else even though the work conference as at a different hotel nearby. Very close to river, park, Bean, and lots of restaurants, bars, shops. It's not new, but still FEELS and looks new. I've stayed in the regular rooms which already feel like suites; and the suites, well, are simply extravagant. The stylings are modern and very cool; the gym is great, as is the coffee shop and bar they have. It's so nice to have something reliable and not have to search. Their team at reception—I've been welcomed by Chad a couple of times now—is super efficient, hospitable, and tries to upgrade when they can especially for repeat business.

Losing Its Luster?
What happened to the Virgin Hotels brand? The gloomy entry and rooftop bar made the stay feel off, even though the rooms were fine. The luster is gone.

What a lovely hotel that was incredibly convenient to seeing things like The Cloudgate and the Lake Front. The rooms were especially cozy. All of the staff was friendly but Chad really went above and beyond with his recommendations and customer service!

An amazing weekend stay at Virgin Hotel!
My girlfriend and I stayed at the Virgin Hotel for a weekend, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The vibe of the place is fun, modern, and welcoming, everything you’d want for a night in the city. It’s also by everything downtown for shows, museums, or anything. We came to stay close to see the Tom Morrello musical at the Goodman/ A huge shoutout to Chad at the concierge desk, he went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He gave us excellent recommendations for spots to eat and hang out, and his friendly, genuine energy made us feel right at home. More hotels need people like him at the front desk, he’s the kind of person who sets the tone for a great stay the moment you walk in and find yourself lost in a city. Between the stylish rooms, great atmosphere, and outstanding staff, this was easily one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had in Chicago. We’d love to be come for another weekend get away!
