Good
We tried the Whitehall cause our usual locations were unavailable. Very nice property, a National Historic Building. First, the staff is excellent, friendly and helpful. Second, breakfast, which is included, is good. Third, the price is significantly below that of other nearby hotels. Fourth, the location is great. Two complaints: the WiFi is bad. We used our hotspots almost the entire two day stay. The toilets are, delicately, interesting. Very low to the ground and, let’s say, difficult to sit on for a man, due to the bowls water level.

Staycation at the Whitehall Hotel
The beds are top-rate, and the room design meets the needs of a person looking for a home away from home. All my needs were met. Whitehall has posted notes to help you navigate your comforts. If there are amenities you need and are currently available, Whitehall will provide them. Their staff makes you feel valued.

A hidden gem in River North
I stayed here recently and was very pleased with the hotel. The rooms are lovely and was superior to the other BW hotels in the chain if you're a follower of that brand. The breakfast was the biggest surprise, better than many other higher priced hotels.

Great stay in Chicago!
The hotel was very nice and clean. The location was great. We were just a block off of Michigan Avenue. Everyone was very accommodating. Cheryl was great to work with. My daughter and I got to the hotel very early and she was able to give us an early check in.

A great place to stay typically at a lower rate than other hotels
I stayed here last month and had recently discovered the hotel's existence. It is an old building which is maintained well. The staff working there are also exceptional making great effort to take care of the guests and anticipate their needs.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at The Whitehall Hotel in March. The property is lovely with an Old World charm, and the food is wonderful. We were treated well by every employee, from the desk clerks to the waiters. We have already booked another weekend and cannot wait to return!.
