We had stayed here a number of times due to the fact that we were able to valet our Tesla and have it charged overnight. On a long trip, that’s a very helpful thing, especially in cold weather, and we plan our stays accordingly. So when we arrived to check in, only to be told that the hotel did not have a charger, we were unhappily surprised. The attendant told us we could use the garage down the street, which had (non-Tesla) chargers, but since all were marked with signs saying they were reserved and offending cars would be towed, we were unable to charge. Neither the valet nor the front desk seemed to be aware that charging had ever been available or advertised. Yet the Tesla app and third-party booking services all still indicate that the hotel has EV charging. We informed the front desk of this, but were offered only a perfunctory “sorry”, not even a promise to let the appropriate parties know that their information needs to be updated to reflect the actual situation. The hotel itself is starting to look a bit tired with regard to finishes. Beds are still comfortable and in-room coffee is great, but given the lack of charging and the couldn’t-care-less attitude we experienced, we won’t be back.

The overall 21C experience was very nice, but my point in writing is to thank and celebrate DeAndre at the Front Desk. He's a total hospitality professional and we appreciated his capabilities and wonderful personality. Thank you, DeAndre!!

I am not sure if you will publish this or not because I haven't stayed yet - we are going in 2 weeks. My review is simply about the customer service I received over the phone. Deandre (I had to get his name because he was THAT GOOD!) was the perfect example of what amazing customer service is. Polite, fun, informative. He answered all (there were many) of many questions and never made me feel like I was asking too many. Never been to Cincinnati and have never stayed at a 21C (only ate at the one in Bentonville) but this guy right here is why I booked the 21C in Cincinnati. I can only hope our visit is half as good as his service.

Stayed here on our first trip to Cincinnati and couldn't have been more pleased with this hotel, especially at its relatively modest price. First of all, the "museum" aspect of the hotel is not a gimmick—there are two full stories of a serious art. It added a nice ambiance upon entering/exiting the lobby, to be sure, but you could also spend hours browsing. Second of all, the staff are extraordinarily friendly and helpful—everyone we spoke to seemed to be living interesting lives in the city, which made for great conversation and local recommendations. The valet parking isn't cheap ($40/night), but it's reasonable enough, and the valets are all welcoming and efficient. They made us feel like we were staying at hotel twice the price. The rooms themselves aren't extravagant, but they're attractive and clean. They'd be worth their price even without the hotel's impressive art and stellar staff. The combination of all these elements is what makes the place a small miracle.

This has been one of my favorite hotel stays ever. From the moment we checked in everyone working here has shown us incredible hospitality. From Mr. Mann at the front desk, Jeremy in the restaurant, the valet, room service. Just wonderful staff. I knew the hotel itself would be nice. We’d stayed before at the 21c in Louisville a few years ago. Will have to come back for a longer visit.
