Gregans Castle Hotel is nestled in the heart of the beautiful Burren, and has been a family run hotel since 1976. Our stunning 18th century manor house is set in its own established and lovingly-attended gardens, boasting spectacular views that stretch across the Burren to Galway Bay. Gregans Castle has long been a source of inspiration for its visitors. Guests have included J.R.R Tolkien, who’s said to have been influenced by the Burren when writing The Lord of the Rings, as well as other revered artists and writers such as Seamus Heaney and Sean Scully.

We have been here before and we lived it. Idyllic property and both food and staff are great. Good place's to sightsee nearby ir just relax on the grounds if thus lovely hotel

Gregans Castle is absolutely perfect! A quiet, understated small hotel in the Burren with beautiful decor, welcoming staff, and comfortable accommodations. This was my second stay, and even more wonderful than the first. The addition of Head Chef Jonathan Farrell has created an unforgettable dining experience. Dinner was best meal I've ever enjoyed. I can't wait to return!

We really enjoyed our stay at Gregans Castle. The staff is so nice, the location is gorgeous and the dinner is a wonderful experience. This is so far the best hotel on our round trip in Ireland. We will of course come back to this location soon and we recommend a stay if you visit this area.
