Six Senses Con Dao

Con Dao is the canvas for this excellent expression of a luxury resort. Well managed with the visible and approachable Lakmal and team. Many things not to miss out on such as home made ice cream on tap and the charge of the baby turtles on the beach into the waves at the right times of the year. Terrific food as expected and a committed activities team who made it clear if you wanted to climb the nearby mountain they’d look after you. Fun was the word and nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was a yummy selection of healthy and also home made selection of delights IHG elite gold - upgraded from 3 bed to 4 bedroom family villa. Unexpected and they have my gratitude. And my increased loyalty to IHG.

A magical stay in paradise. When we arrived my four year old asked if we had arrived in fairy island, which soon became known as turtle island after a fascinating sustainability tour and turtle talk. From collecting eggs for breakfast and clams for dinner, fish gold, flying kites and everything in between, we had a truly magical stay. Welcoming and friendly team.

Airport greeting and limo to the resort were seemless. Staff greeting and checking in was well done without it being made into a production. Our G.E M. Was a delightful young man. His English was very, very good, and he was attentive and very helpful. The staff were amazing, cheerful, helpful, and very accommodating. The beachfront pool villa was exceptional! Just steps from one of the nicest beaches in southeast Asia. Expertly maintained. Overall, this was a very nice stay. The spa facilities were very newly constructed, and well worth the visits, again staff were great. Dining was also a highlight of the stay, shout out to staff, and Chef and F&B management. We will return again. Lots to explore on Con Dao.

We just returned from an unforgettable 2-night stay at Six Senses Con Dao, and I couldn’t recommend it more. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in serene natural beauty, impeccable service, and thoughtful touches that made our vacation truly special. A huge thank you to Hau, our dedicated GEM (butler), who took such great care of us, always one step ahead with kind suggestions and warm service. We also had the chance to join a sustainability tour led by Chau, who not only educated us but also inspired both me and my daughter with stories of the resort’s conservation efforts and eco-friendly practices. It's rare to find a place that delivers luxury while staying committed to sustainability in such a genuine way. The kids club deserves a special mention. My little one absolutely loved it and was constantly asking to go back. It's such a relief as a parent to have a safe, creative space for kids to play and learn while you unwind. The beach is picture-perfect, the villa was spotless, and the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. Every meal we had was delicious, but the breakfast truly stood out - fresh, diverse, and beautifully presented. A highlight of our stay was the outdoor cinema tucked away in the jungle, a magical experience under the stars that we’ll remember for a long time. As a small suggestion, since the resort has activity of recycling used cooking oil to make soap (which is amazing!), it would be wonderful to see this handmade soap used in the villas instead of the current handwashing liquid - bringing the sustainability loop full circle. Thank you, Six Senses Con Dao, for the memories. We can’t wait to return.

The most incredible service as always from this beautiful chain of hotels. It doesn’t feel like a chain.. it feels utterly bespoke. They think of everything for you.. even before you’ve thought about it yourself. The complimentary touches are incredible and generous. You feel apart of a family and Tu Our gem was BRILLIANT! Vincent was great at making cocktails and entertaining us with his interesting conversation! And Phuoc was the best massage therapist I’ve ever had! Thank you so much!! Highly recommend!!!
