Nana Princess

Myself and my wife chose this hotel via indulgent escapes on Jet 2 as it was our wedding anniversary. We arrived at the hotel after midnight and were greeted by Joanna from from the hotels guest relations team. From the off the atmosphere within the hotel was terrific. Joanna made us very welcome and supplied a couple of glasses of prosecco and some delightful dried fruit and some other tasty small bites to eat. We were then given a run down of the layout of the hotel and offered a tour later as it was raining and Joanna could tell we were tired from our journey. We were then conveyed to our room by Joanna and another member of staff in a longer version of a golf cart which was fun. These can be utilised by guests if need be obviously driven by members of staff. Joanna gave us a quick tour of the room which I have to say was very upmarket and of superb quality with charging points for phones,hdmi connections and a superb television in the main room and a tv behind the main bathroom mirror as well !! The room was very clean and there was a uk plug socket provided. All the suites and villas have their own infinity pools and loungers which were amazing and very clean. The room also had powered blinds/curtains and a safe which you could upload your own combination code into for valuables etc. One great feature is the selection colour system at the room door which allows staff to recognise your status i.e Do not disturb or make my room etc. The staff make up the room daily and also offer a turn down service at night if required. As it was our anniversary Joanna also sprung a surprise with a cake and prosecco which was a lovely gesture. We attended breakfast later that morning and the staff were amazing. They are always on the go and are immaculately presented and clear used plates from your table very quickly and always ask if you require anything else....They were quite frankly fantastic ! Breakfast is a buffet style and the choice is very good whether hot or cold. There is also a small selection of a la carte options if required and the view from the dining area is amazing. The pool areas are fantastic with sun beds well spaced out giving guests the privacy they require. The hotel has its own private beach with gazebos which were fantastic and yet again the beach and pool staff were amazing. We didnt eat at night at the hotels restaurants as we like to explore locally however both looked amazing. We did however order food at the beach bar and 1 night had room service the food was excellent and well presented. The location of the hotel is about 20 mins walk from the ouskirts of Heronossis and slightly longer to the outskirts of Malia. There is an access road that runs parallel to the main road and it is used frequently by pedestrians. Summing up the hotel is fantastic,the staff are amazing and I have already recommended the hotel to a number of friends who are thinking about a holiday in Crete. Myself and my wife would personally like to thank Joanna for her kind and caring nature and her ability as with all the staff to know when to have a chat and when to allow you to enjoy your holiday.

Wonderful service and the staff are very professional and attentive. Joanna welcomed me to the hotel and took me on a resort tour. She was excellent. Sofia as well was very attentive. Breakfast had a live violinist which was excellent and the beach and pool areas sit right on the ocean front. The spa facilities are very good.

This resort truly deserves more than 5 stars. The amount of care and attention to detail was remarkable. Every single employee is incredibly friendly, and it's remarkable how much effort they put into fulfilling every guest's wish, and how they manage to do so. My expectations were exceeded by far.Although every member of staff was incredibly friendly, some stood out in particular. Joanna made my arrival easy. Sofia treated me not just like a guest, but like a friend. Laoura ensured that every breakfast was a pleasant experience. The service manager, Dimitris, was very attentive, and on the beach, Vasilis was truly friendly and helpful with his menu recommendations. I wish I could mention every single member of staff because they all deserve it. Thank you to the Nana Princess Resort for the wonderful experience.
