Our stay at Rio Sagrado was truly one of the highlights of our journey in Peru. Arriving at the property feels like discovering a hidden paradise in the heart of the Sacred Valley. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and care that immediately made us feel valued and at home. The entire property is beautifully maintained and perfectly integrated with the surrounding nature. The gardens, the river flowing through the valley, the llamas roaming peacefully on the grounds, and waking up in the morning to birdsong create an atmosphere that is both peaceful and magical. At times we found ourselves wondering if we were dreaming. What stood out the most was the exceptional service. The entire team was friendly, attentive, and clearly proud of the hospitality they provide. The restaurant staff in particular were outstanding and created a warm and welcoming experience throughout our stay. We also had the pleasure of joining a wonderful excursion organized by the hotel. Our guide, Arturo, was excellent – knowledgeable, experienced, and engaging – and together with his driver Angel they made the day truly memorable. Rio Sagrado also sets a strong example when it comes to sustainability. The organic gardens and the commitment to sourcing ingredients locally create a meaningful connection with the surrounding community and landscape. Overall, our stay far exceeded our expectations and will remain a cherished memory from our time in Peru.

We had an exceptional 3-day visit to the Sacred Valley & Belmond's Rio Sagrado resort. The property and grounds are nothing short of heavenly, exquisite service by the staff and fabulous small touches (torito bull painting, harp music played at breakfast, artist & weaver gifts, to name a few). A wonderful experience!

From feeding the baby alpacas, to meeting local artists, to the friendly and attentive staff, the Rio Sagrado delivers a truly satisfying experience. Our arrival was announced by 3 calls from a conch. The foood was local in concept, locally sourced, and exquisite in both presentation and taste. The room was well apportioned with a great view of the river.
