Beautiful hotel with wonderful service! Staff was extremely attentive and customer focused. Rooms and all areas were impeccably clean. We had a great breakfast and had Patricia as our server. A friendly smile with outstanding customer service. It really started our day off in a positive way. Thank you Patricia for your awesome attention to detail and most importantly your friendly attitude!

My company recently had some great clients here in Peru. Over the past 15 years we had booked thousands of clients here. Recently, there was no air conditioning here and the problem was made known to the front desk and manager. Nothing was done and it shows the ineptitude of the staff of this hotel. The hotel refuses to cover any nights in any rooms and the reply we got below for the world to see: “We did not have any technical problem at any time, since the room you reserved in the Deluxe category does not have air conditioning, as you know, we have AC from the One Bedroom category onwards, therefore we have not made any error in the allocation of accommodation according to your request and reservation for this client.” They were not offered the option of changing or upgrading their room, even though not all categories have air conditioning, which could have been a valid alternative. "Since October 20th, our Palacio del Inka has maintained an occupancy rate between 96% and 100%, therefore our hotel staff had no option to reassign a new room. To alleviate your discomfort, we sent you a portable air conditioning unit, which is assigned only to VIP guests. Additionally, as a gesture of solidarity for your inconvenience, we offered you the benefit of 15,000 Bonvoy points." * My note, their stupidity they allocated the Bonvoy Points to the wrong account! They requested to speak with the Manager during their stay and received no response, which reinforced the perception of a lack of commitment. "The client requested to speak with the Hotel Manager during checkout, at which time our GM was unavailable, so we offered that our Quality Manager would contact him immediately, which happened promptly." So Palacio del Inka management in Cusco are more concerned about themselves than any client. All my future clients will go to proper 5 star hotels like Monasterio, Palacio Nazarenas, Aranwa etc. and that will allow the Palacio del Inka manger to rest easy in his self serving stupidity. I hope Marriott management read all of this. Goodbye.

Fantastic breakfast and food! We stayed at the hotel, the service was incredible (thank you Patricia), and the buffet was expansive and provided a little bit of everything. Much better than usual hotel breakfasts and we are going to miss it!

This hotel is fantastic! I’ll definitely stay here again! From the moments we checked in, the staff were super welcoming and attentive. Since we are a Marriott member, we got a free upgrade from a deluxe king room to a one bedroom suite. Photos attached. Their onsite restaurant is romantic & classy, the dinner menu is extensive! Breakfast buffet is wonderful with both Peruvian and western options! The courtyard is pleasant and beautiful, perfect for a good morning breakfast. This hotel has daily free activities from 3 to 4 in the afternoon. They offer a historical tour at 5 pm daily and it is about an hour. I went to their cocktail making and Daniel explained clearly the importance of temperature on making cocktails. The spa is excellent and it is reasonable for $90 daily use. We got a voucher of $25 daily access to the spa, therefore I paid $65 for an hour using their thermal pool, one of the best features beyond a regular spa, the hot stone therapy bed, I love it! Especially after a lot of walking in Cusco city center. Angela is sweet and asking if I am comfortable in the pool. This is more than a hotel! I enjoyed my stay and the concierge is excellent. They even called my room to check if we need anything! I have been many luxury hotels all over the world. This one is very unique, a combination of arts, history, museum and luxury. Most important the staff are sincere and always wear a smile. The price is quite reasonable of what this hotel offers. The location is unbeatable next to the Sun Temple! I usually write a review after my stay in a hotel, however, this time I am so impressed that I have no doubt I’ll enjoy another night stay in here.

Such a beautiful experience at this hotel. Room was nice. We were welcomed by such a knowledgeable concierge Didier. He was extremely helpful with information about the city and things do, and places to eat. We also had a great time with our experience in the “how to make a pisco sour” with Daniel. :) So much fun and entertaining.
