I won’t be coming back- for the price NOT worth it.
I want to save people money!!! It’s sad that my experience has been less than desirable. The desk staff is not consistent and at times unfriendly. I was told that my reward points = the mandatory tip. The pool towels are rough, small and cheap.

Great Place for Your Convention or Gathering
The Shores made a real impression on our 130 guests at our 2024 Florida Council of Chapters of the Military Officer's Association of America Convention. From our 4-star General Chairman of the Board to the basic Chapter member everyone was impressed by the venue, the friendly and accommodating staff, and the range of things to do - not to mention being on the world-famous Daytona Beach. Well Done to All!

Not as great as I thought
I thought this was going to be a wonderful hotel, but I was greatly let down. There are no beverage machines on any floor - I was told they had new ones, then told later they had none. The view for sunset is a parking lot. Staff is wonderful, rooms are clean and the beds are super comfortable.

Great time at the Tiki Bar and Amy was great! Ocean view, beautiful weather and awesome drinks!! The room view was amazing and the pools were fun! Can’t go wrong with the s’mores at the nightly fire!! All the staff were extremely courteous and pleasant. It’s the simple things but they go a long way!
