About the Hotel

When The Art Hotel broke ground in 2013, it was a blank canvas in the Golden Triangle district of Downtown Denver. Now its white walls are filled with museum-quality paintings and its hallways are dotted with sculptures. The modern masterpiece is dedicated to aesthetics and beauty, both natural and manmade. Floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the building reveal stark panoramas of the Rocky Mountains and allow an ideal amount of sunshine to show off the art. Sleep never looked so good.

Reviews for The ART Hotel

I’m genuinely confused? Room from hell - why the high ratings? Long but thorough and honest review

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

I truly am convinced we had the worst room in the hotel. It started with my toddler finding a pill of some sort upon arrival on the ground in our room. Thankfully, this was addressed immediately and the housekeeping staff was great. However, our room in general was bad news all around. The furniture was chipped, mold on ceilings and cracking above shower, mini fridge did not fit and injured us and our kids hands every time we opened it (and as a bottle feeding parent I needed that fridge and still have the cuts on my hands), scuffs everywhere and desperately needs paint, tv and lamp didn’t work (we told the front desk and they said they would address it right away, it never worked while we were there and even prevented us from a family movie night). The art ironically was ripped and hanging off the wall (isn’t this the art hotel?). As an Amex Platinum member and Hilton gold status, and for this price point, I do not understand how on Earth this hotel is part of the fine hotels collection, and was definitely not worth the price per night. With a room like this, I seriously don’t know how the ratings are so high and it did not meet our expectations. With that said (and this is where my confusion comes in) : General hotel was nice, the fitness center was great, the grounds looked beautiful, main areas were nice, inviting and clean, and the team is top notch! Everyone at the front desk was warm, and accommodating, the valet team was beyond wonderful (we used in and out with our small kiddos frequently and they were quick, kind, and always greeted us upon arrival). The free breakfast was delicious and the restaurant was better than we expected (shout out to their friendly team too!) Unlimited bottled water, Pepsi and snacks were nice (though we don’t drink Pepsi, still a nice gesture). Other than the room, there were no surprises in billing or amenities. I am grateful to management who has already reached out to me based off of my review directly to them and appreciate them working to better guest experience. Their communication seems sincere and have offered to make it right. Though I could not recommend this hotel based off of our room (what we truly paid for), I do hope that these issues are addressed right away, because this hotel has a lot going for it (staff, restaurant, amenities) and the potential to be one of the best hotels in the area… just not with a room like this.

Lovely hotel

This was a great hotel. Room was lovely, they had snacks for free in the room, which was a nice touch. The staff was really sweet. My only complaint is that I could hear noise from the children in the adjoining room, but I am an early riser and I’m sure it was just because the room had the door that could make it adjoining.

A great place to stay in Denver

This hotel was chosen by a work colleague for a group of us and it was an outstanding selection. I loved the style of the whole place - very modern but super comfortable at the same time. My room was spacious and functional. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was so luxurious. The gym was spacious and well equipped. We also had the opportunity to sample the food on a few of occasions and it was excellent every time.

A Home Away From Home

This was my first experience being so impressed by a place that I felt compelled to write a review. During our trip to Colorado for our wedding anniversary, Colton at the front desk provided exceptional hospitality and made us feel extremely welcomed. He expertly informed us of all the available services and accommodations in a professional and friendly manner that surpassed any previous hotel stays. Colton was attentive and ensured that we were always comfortable and taken care of while in the lobby. The entire stay was delightful, and the staff truly made our trip special. I highly recommend this hotel to others, as the clean rooms, vibrant art scene, and delicious restaurant further enhanced our experience. This hotel is now my top-rated choice for future stays.

We stayed at The Art Hotel Denver. Location is excellent. Hotel is very modern and room was quite comfortable. The Fire restaurant we went to multiple times and was great each time. The service also stands out at this hotel, .from front desk to the restaurant each staff member was kind and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel and was quite different from other Hilton's have stayed at. A great experience.
